She's the only animated character I truly hate. She's a disgrace to the Disney company.

Jane is not that bad, I saw the movie once and she was okay to me! To me Ariel is one of the worst Disney Characters (only beaten by probably Meg from Hercules and maybe more characters), but weirdly enough I love her because her personality in the 2nd movie isn't that bad (haven't seen the 3rd movie yet and not enough of the tv-show only a few episodes) and I still make icons of her and I want to have some dolls of her so I don't know what I should think of her, but I would say it's a small like!

LOL Jane is awesome! She's responsible, she actually saves day. The only reason people don't like her is because she's from a sequel, because she's a GREAT role model for children. Honestly i don't get the hate towards Jane. Unlike Wendy, while at WAR TIME, who would believe in fairytales and Peter Pan? Again, WAR TIME, Wendy is basically telling her kids that Peter Pan will one day come and rescue them. if you were in war, would you believe such stuff?
Whatever..There's really no reason to dislike her...

@Ribon95: What was she supposed to tell her kids then? That they're all going to die? That their father will probably never come back?

I love Ariel, and I love Jane. I think both have theirs problems, but I've never wanted to slap Jane like I wanted to slap Ariel.

@BelleAnastasia Better face reality than tell your kids they will fly to neverland and that the world is pink and perfect and nothing bad will ever happen

Anyway, I can stand Jane more than Ariel... Not saying I can't stand either...

Well she got pissed off when her mom was sending her and her brother away to keep them safe, because she promised her dad that she would keep Wendy safe but shes only a child so she can't really. And She yelled at her brother that Peter Pan DIDN'T exist and people DIDN'T fly because even though they were in war and he still believed in Fairy Tales. Sure she made it up to him later when she got back and played with in again, but to me she never really made it up in my mind. Because I am the younger child so when my sister and I were young when she stoped playing with me it was heart breaking and sometimes when she would see I was sad she would play with me but it never lasted, so in that way i feel bad for her brother because she grew up to fast.

so it's bad a person wants to keep her mother safe because she promised that to her father who's in war....
but hey, kids who lived during war HAD to grow up fast, and it did happen in real life. unfortunately they were forced to work when they were still little. so there would be no time for jane to believe in such thing as fairytales and she was only trying to get her brother to see that. i think she's a very realistic character.

I love them both, but I haven't seen this movie in a long time.

Guys, I don't see your problem. There is a certain user, who posts hate picks every single day, yet you say nothing to this user. When I do it for a first time, everybody is like..."Oh, how could you do it? This is totally inappropriate" I dislike double standards, and I don't think is fair for certain people to be ok to post hate picks, but for others to be almost equal to a crime.

This is Fanpop, a site for fans, not for haters. I would prefer it to stay that way, but since certain users obviously don't care about that, why should I?

I don't hate or dislike Jane and definitely don't see how she is supposed to be the worst animated character ever created or even the worst animated Disney character when we have Naveen lol. Sorry, sorry, couldn't hold myself. I saw Peter Pan and the sequel ages ago and don't even remember much from there, but Ariel is awesome and will always be an inspiration to me and no other character can beat her. Ariel is the one who changed the attitude and mentality of one world regarding another world, including the mentality of her own father (the KING) about it, because his prejudices and judgement against humans was wrong and misguided.

Of course now I see where you're coming from. I know you're not a troll, and niether is half this community. If there's one thing I can't really stand, it's Black Butler, but you guys don't see me hating that, both in that fanclub, or any unrelated clubs as well.

Ariel is one of my favorite DP. I like Jane too. For a sequel character, she is not bad. I like it that she doesn't believe in fairies (Tinker Bell) and can outsmart Peter Pan.

It's about time Ariel made it to your last place. What took you so long? Anyway Jane is FAR from being a disgrace to disney! Ariel is my favorite animated character(tied with Melody). Jane is in my top 15 favorite animated characters EVER! So I pick NEITHER because I don't dislike either!

Well I've never seen Peter Pan 2 so.

I like Jane, I love Ariel.

Ariel is my most fav. EVER. she doesnt deserve all the hate.
