Now that I am done with school I can finally write my ranking of the Disney Princesses. These are just my personal opinions. It is ok if you disagree with my list but please no rude comments.
13. Merida
I really can't stand Merida. I haven't been Brave in 3 years but I don't want to see it again. I think she is rude, bratty, & obnoxious. Moving on.
12. Elsa
I'm not an Elsa fan. I don't find her very likeable. She just irritates me. I don't really know what else to say.
11. Anna
I like her better than Else no doubt but she doesn't do much for me. I hated the line she when she said she is gassy. Really? What kind of humor is that?
10. Tiana
As you can probably tell the modern princesses is my least favorite princess era. Maybe it is because I didn't grow up with these princesses (I'm 21). While Tiana may be a good role model but she is just not my cup of tea. I think she is a bit of an overachiever. She never knows how to have fun. I get that she wants to run her own restraint but she can take a break every now and then. I just don't find her to be likeable.
9. Pocahontas
While I don't think Pocahontas is a bad character, I don't fine her to be very compelling. Her whole movie bores me. I think Pocahontas's speaking voice is dull and monotone. There is nothing really bad about her I just don't find her to be very exciting.
8. Mulan
I feel bad for not having Mulan high on the list. While she is a great character she is just not my taste. I am not into fighting heroines. I am more into feminine heroines like Aurora.
7. Snow White
I have nothing against Snow White but she doesn't appeal to me as much as the princesses above her. It is a shallow reason but I can't stand her voice. It is so painful to listen to.
6. Jasmine
I haven't seen Aladdin in a very long time but Jasmine is a pretty cool character. She isn't really the main character in Aladdin so her personality isn't as developed as characters such as Belle or Ariel. When I get Aladdin on blu ray this fall, I will have more to say about Jasmine.
5. Cinderella
Now to the princesses I really love! I just love Cinderella. While I am not a big fan of the movie itself, I do adore Cinderella as a character. I can relate to her because I do most of the housework in my family and I got bullied a lot when I was younger.
4. Aurora
Such an underrated princess! I can see why people may not like her because her personality isn't as developed as other princesses but I love how classy and polite she is. I can relate to Aurora sometimes because I'm an introvert. I wish we had more characters like Aurora these days. Now most female characters these days are shooting arrows or swinging swords. I'm not against strong female characters I just wish we had more of a variety because I'm getting sick of these badass women.
3. Rapunzel
I love Rapunzel. While it is true she may not be the most original Disney Princess, I don't think that makes her a bad character. Rapunzel is enthusiastic and charismatic. She is Disney's most charismatic princess since Ariel.
2. Belle
Of all the Disney Princesses I relate to Belle the most. I love reading and I have a hard time making friends in real life. I like how Belle is feminine and strong.
1. Ariel
My favorite since I was a child! I love how adventurous Ariel is. Another thing I love Ariel is that she is not afraid to defy King Triton. I relate to Ariel because sometimes I feel I don't belong in the world I currently in. Part of Your World is the Disney song that speaks to me the most. I sometimes sing Part of Your World in the shower.
This is my personal ranking of the princesses. Thanks for reading the article and I hope you enjoyed it. As I said at the beginning it is ok if you don't agree with my list but please no rude comments.
