She's bubbly, sweet, and isn't happy with her father's restrictions (Although we learn that there is very good reason for them in The Little Mermaid 3). Some said that she was childish, immature, and wouldn't take the job seriously, and with her somewhat reckless decisions and selfishness, most agreed she would make the worst queen out of the princesses.

Not long after her romp in woods with a cute boy, Briar Rose discovers that she is Princess Aurora, and betrothed to marry Prince Phillip. She is utterly devastated by the news that she will never again see the boy she danced with in the forest. Voters agreed this was sad, but she should get over it…there are worse things in life.
