Pocahontas as Governor Ratcliffe

Almost everyone knows that Cinderella is my favorite princess. I've given my reasons for loving her many times before, but in this article I'll give a more detailled insight in why.

Cinderella is dreamy. I believe everybody, at some point of their lives, had a dream. A life without dreams is a sad one. Dreams brighten our day and give us something to believe in if life is suddenly unfair and cruel.

I admire Cinderella so much for believing in her dreams that words cannot describe it.


Cinderella is strong. Many "feminists" (I'm talking about the ones whose views I don't agree with)...

I was bored today, and really wanted to do something, so I decided to start a series of analyzing the DP Couples in depth (and later, the other Disney Couples). You can recommend me which couple to do next in the couples section. So here is how it is going to go. I will first explain my overall statement about the couples in a paragraph, and then I will analyze each scene to look at the inner and outer feelings of the characters individually an the couple itself.

Facts About Snow White
1.Snow White is the first Disney Princess, being the main character of Disney's first animated feature film.

10. Snow White
Snow White is kind to every person and creature she meets. She is also fair and beautiful above all the maidens in the land. Animals and people alike share their love for this sweet princess.


9. Pocahontas
Pocahontas is brave, fearless, fun loving, and willing to stand up...

I know using the phrase top ten doesn't make sense, because there's only ten but lets get on with it.

10.Aurora
The most feminine princess in the bunch but that really isn't saying much. Aurora is one of the more attractive, Barbie-esque, princesses which again isn't saying much, but the list more or less based on personality and Aurora just doesn't cut it. Granted she didn't have much time for us to get to know her, the movie was mostly focused on the fairies. Let's just admit it Aurora really is just another pretty face, she's totally hot but that's about it.

After seeing Tangled, I decided that I needed to update the ol' list. The last time I updated my list was about 3 months ago. My list has changed quite a bit since then. I've watched all of the Princess movies over the past week, and came up with a brand spankin' new list. To mix things up a bit, I've included my favorite scene from that Princess' movie. Hope you enjoy!

Ah, the Native American Beauty. She doesn't quite look Native American, does she? I agree. Well, that's because she wasn't modeled after a Native American!

Dweeb started making these countdown, but she never made one with Mulan's outfits, so I decided to make one since in honor of Mulan month.

During the countdown, people noticed that, even if they don't put Mulan high on their best dressed list, all of her outfits are pretty and she has nice clothes in general.

There are 9 outfits that Mulan wore, and I separated them in 3 categories:

10.The Chinese Recruits vs. Themselves
What can be said? This is a hilarious battle that poor Mulan started that resulted in a big pile up at the end. But it's not a serious battle, nor is it significant to the movie in any way. It's just a fun little fight.

Basically I'm going to address what people tend to think about the princesses, when it is indeed not true, or at least not entirely.

Snow White
Can't really say anything about Snow White. People are really dead on about her. She sweet, caring, joyful, old fashioned and kinda stupid. I wish I could defend her but I can't. All the negative stuff people say about Snow are completely true, as well as the positive. The only misconception I can come up with, is that everyone thinks she's happy all the time. But there's one scene where she's crying but she almost immediately bounces back. So,...

 10. Mulan & Shang

This really shouldn't come to anybody's surprise. Throughout most of the film Shang believes that Mulan is actually a man. I don't doubt for one second that they don't love and respect each other, but we don't get to see any romance between them (not including the sequel). They never dance, never serenade each other with a romantic song.
