Since it's Valentine's Day soon I decided to write a few articles relating to that and I decided to do a list of my favorite DP Couples, fittingly enough the last time I did this list was around this time last year, since then my list has changed a slight bit. Hope you'll like this article

11. Mulan & Shang

Imo they're more best friends than a couple, their first meeting is hilarious though and I love how Mulan isn't afraid to show off her feelings for Shang in a subtle way and how Shang chose to not kill Mulan despite the fact that women wheren't allowed in the army, it shows that...

Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008 from Russia)
Hi guys, I have been wanting to write this article for a long time, since I'm also a beauty pageant fan myself too. I thought that it would be interesting to write about which Disney Princess do they look like and why. If you guys have your opinion, you're most likely welcome to write it down! Here are some of my favourite Miss Universe/ Miss World winners and their striking resemblance to the Disney Princesses.

Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008, Russia)

This Russian beauty has combo of Cinderella and Princess Aurora, but most likely the latter because of their similar facial features and long...

Ella and Kit, together!!
Ella and Kit, together!!
Hi everyone, I have decided to write about what I like and didn't like about both versions of Cinderella. If you guys disagree with me, I don't mind. In the bold bracket, is the one I like.

The Prologue

In the 1950 version, we only saw Cinderella and her father with their pets. Unfortunately, he only gets a few minutes of screen-time and there were no interaction between the two because I felt that the whole prologue was just rush. We don't know how close the bond is between Cinderella and her dad.
In the 2015 version, for the first time we got to see her mother as well and Ella, including...

I, myself only knew 7 out of 14. Who knows, you might know more than me or know less than me. Either way enjoy reading and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Production designer Richard Vander Wende devised a simple color scheme for the film, inspired by its desert setting. Blue (water) stands for good, red (heat) for evil, and yellow (sand) is neutral. For example, the villainous Jafar is clad in blacks and reds, while the virtuous Jasmine wears blue. Another example is in the Cave of Wonders, where the lamp's chamber is blue, and the ruby that tempts Abu is bright red.

2) Jasmine was originally...

Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
I love art! I love culture, history, music and I love art. I have done some posts and polls about the Disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the Disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the Disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each Disney Princess would love the most. (I could probably find a Van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

First of all, THANK YOU so much to the 24+ fans on this site who participated in my series of "DP personality trait" polls! I was so happy to see so many voters as I wanted this to be a very community-involved thing. Your participation was most necessary and appreciated! :D Your comments were even more appreciated and some are posted throughout the article as relevant to each trait. [*Note: I am more than willing to remove any comments upon simple request from commenter.]

In the series of polls, the last one was not pertaining as specifically to the DP itself but more the film around the DP...

Unlike my favorite Disney Princess list this list hasn't changed so much, but I still felt like writing an article about this because not only has it changed, it's also been a while since the last time I wrote this article. I find all the princesses pretty, but I have prefrences, for example I prefer the more realistic looking princesses so don't be surprised if most of the bottom placements are the cartoony looking princesses. Anyway enjoy this article

13. Jasmine

I've never really found Jasmine beautiful, she's pretty though. If I where to base this on color scheme only she would be much...

I got this idea when I learned that at one point, Disney actually was using some of the princesses in cause advertisements and it got me thinking: If each of the Disney Princesses wanted to select a cause/charity to contribute to, which would it be?

Snow White- Senior Citizens: Snow White ends up homeless after running away from the evil queen and she was fortunate that the 7 dwarfs took her in. This is why I think she would want to help senior citizens the way she did for the dwarfs and the way that they helped her (although they were not senior, they were getting close).

Cinderella- Animal...
