I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This article is dedicated to the amazing animators of Disney who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

12. Tiana

I find Tiana's hairstyles quite disappointing. As the first black princess, and being absolutely gorgeous at that, the animators could have done lots of cool things with letting...

I know she's always typed as an Intuitive, especially an ENFP, and it's understandable why; I had once typed her as an ENFJ myself. She does, after all, just "know" the lights are "meant for me!" But is that really indicative of someone with strong intuitive preference? I think it's because this tendency for people to type nerdy/quirky/silly ESFJs as ENFPs, not only Rapunzel but characters like Steven Universe. It gets frustrating because that just implies only intuitives are inherently imaginative.

Anyway, to the typing:

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): Rapunzel is very warm to everyone she meets....

This was originally going to be a part 2. But after seeing laylastepford's version of my format, I wanted to tidy my original version up a bit. Also in writing my original I missed a few favourites out as well as a few subjects. So this is the Updated and Improved version. The other version will deleted once this is posted. So remember to update your links if you've linked the original. This one is more detailed than the other one and a little longer. I've added a sentence in "about me" that's different.

Behind the Screen name: Princess Ayeka is a character from Tenchi Muyo an Anime tv series....

My User Icon Made By Myself
My User Icon Made By Myself
This is mostly inspired by the link by PrincessAyeka12. I thought it was really neat the way it gave a chance for people to talk about like interests as well as get to know the user better as a well-rounded person beyond just their DP favorites etc. So I hope you guys don't mind this article and I'd love to hear from you about what we do and/or don't have in common. :)

Behind the Screen Name: I love reading and writing so I wanted to pick a name that was very symbolic for me. I love and strive for balance as I truly believe it is the key to life. My screenname was meant to represent the balance...

I think having friends in life gives it a great lift, makes it living worthwhile as much as love does. Without friendship, life would have been such a drag. They are the best form of relationship adding so much in our lives - fun, comfort, support and even the bitter truth for our better future. I love the kind of confidence friends brings in me and make me strong to do and be what and who I want to be.

So, as much as Disney princess movies are about love stories and happily ever afters, I love the strong underflow of friendship that is always there in each of the movies. I love seeing the...

.... Or Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be more positive people. They cared more about well-roundedness, being modest...

I have been wanting to write this article since beginning but it took a lot more time to find that right kind of dresses for each princess. I love weddings, the festivity of it, the promises in it, the preparations for it. I'm kind of disappointed that Disney hasn't made it a ritual kind of a thing in its movies. Though I understand, different plots need different settings, but I'd still love to see more of Disney weddings especially in a romantic plot. I so wish especially Aurora's and Snow's wedding, with them finding their prince in the classic fairytale set-up.
Initially I had wanted to...

So I really, really, really love the Disney Princess dance sequences, particularly with the waltz, as I find it to be so sweepingly romantic! The animation of the dance, the way the dress twirls with the women, the romantic and powerful score in the background, the gorgeous scenery in the background and the usually gorgeous dress worn by the princess... I love everything about these sequences! That's not to mention the show of romantic love developing. I am very much an old soul so I really love the process of "courting" which often included the man taking the woman out to dance or dancing...

In lines with the amazing articles written by link, link & link, I wanted to make my own article about favorite things from DP films. Narrowing it all down was really hard for me so I decided to combine things into groupings so I could give overall things from the DP films. I hope you guys enjoy!

10. Animal Friends/Sidekicks:
I always thought that the DPs having animal friends was the cutest idea. I like the "unrealistic" elements of fairy tales because they're not supposed to be real, that's why they are "fairy tales". I always liked the idea of animal friends helping cook, clean, sew, etc....
