I haven’t written an article in ages…. Ah, well. Doesn’t matter. Since there has been a great frou-frou and a tizzy storm over Disney’s recent live action Beauty and the Beast 2017, I thought I would be remiss if I did not watch it. And watch it I did. So here, below, I’m sharing my thoughts on Disney’s revamped Beauty and the Beast 1991 as a live action feature circa 2017. Please don’t read this article if you haven’t seen the movie yet, and don’t want any spoilers!

Spoiler Alert!
The Prologue
The first scene featuring the prince’s hosted party was...

During my activity on Fanpop, especially this club, I often see many peoples were commented about their favorites and least favorites Disney Princesses. So I think and started to made most favorites and least favorites Disney Princesses by Fanpop users in this club. Here's the list and say sorry if you don't agree with this article (this is just my opinions only). Enjoy!

Most Favorite Disney Princesses in Fanpop.

1. Mulan

This is kinda opposite with the general public. In general public she is one of the unpopular Princess (probably because she technically isn't a princess, but she has the honor...

I guess Elsa is now the mother of Olaf,Marshamllow and the Snowgies.
I'm not actually analyzing the full short, just the beginning.
Ever since Frozen Fever came out I wanted to do this analysis but I didn't have time, but now I can so let's do this. And what better choice for my analysis on this short than the first thing that happens when it begins.
When Frozen Fever begins, the very first thing we see is Elsa changing and deciding on the ice topping figures for the cake. She changes them three times before she decides on the perfect one. When I first saw the short,I quickly recognized the posses of each figure from moments in the movie or from printed media and...

Hey everyone! Sorry it took me so long to publish this article. It's finals week at my uni and I've been pretty busy writing papers and studying for exams. Luckily I finally got some time to write this, so here are the final results all compiled together for your convenience!

9. Brave

We started off this countdown with a tiebreaker between Brave and Frozen. Honestly I was kind of sad Brave was the first eliminated, since I'm incredibly fond of it. However, users didn't like the fact that it was a Pixar film and so technically not the work of Disney. Others also didn't like the fact that there...

I love how optimistic she is despite almost being killed, I also love how kind and gentle she is

I love that she can be both a mother and a child, other princesses are one of those things or they develop from one to the other

I love that she's an unjudgemental person, for a long time I thought Belle was the only princess that was unjudgemental, but like a year ago or so I realised that Belle wasn't the only unjudgemental...

Anna:
Elsa?
(Knocking: Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock)
Do you wanna build a snowman?
Come on lets go and play
I never see you anymore
Come out the door
It's like you've gone away-
We used to be best buddies
And now we're not
I wish you would tell me why!-
Do you wanna build a snowman?
It doesn't have to be a snowman.

Elsa:
Go away, Anna

Anna:
Okay, bye...

(Knocking)
Do you wanna build a snowman?
Or ride our bikes around the halls
I think some company is overdue
I've started talking to
the pictures on the walls-
(Hang in there, Joan!)
It gets a little lonely
All these empty rooms,

Just watching the hours tick...

Anna and Elsa are currently my least favorite Disney Princesses. So let's talk about them, shall we?

Well, I have a neutral feeling about Elsa and I hate Anna, let me explain why.

I have a neutral feeling about Elsa because I feel like not only is her part in the movie annoyingly twisted (I know she's not supposed to be the antagonist, but when it comes to the end she's done just as bad as Hans has done. Frozen does a HORRIBLE job explaining to you about who the antagonist is. They probably think it's a cool twist but I don't think it is. Not only is it not clear about who the antagonist is,...

Ok, so I have a lot to discuss in the top section today. First, I would like to give Bellerose829 credit for thinking if this idea. Second, I will be using a different method, also thought up by Bellerose829. In this method, each Princess will start out with zero points, and will lose or gain points from cartian things about their appearance. +1 means that the feature is nice, it adds to their beauty overall. +2 means that it is a great feature, adding more to their beauty than a plus 1. +3 not only means it adds a lot to their beauty, but is a unique feature of the Princess that makes them...

Bonjour!
Today I am going to be telling you the original fairytales before Disney retold them. (They're not necessarily the first, original versions of the stories but they are dark ones). You might know most of these and that's cool, but in case you didn't, here they are. Please note I have done some research - I'm not just making it up.
This article should probably be in the Disney Club, but the majority of these stories are Disney Princess and heroine stories. Besides, I like to get feedback and nice comments and I hardly ever get comments in the Disney club.
These aren't ranked or in a countdown,...

Congratulations to CRaZy_rawR, our fan of the month for January 2014!

1. How does it feel to be Fan of the Month?
when I found out I was FOTM of January, I was estatic. c: It was really nice to know my contributions were appreciated in the club.

2. Your favorite Princess and why?
It's Pocahontas! It's been this way for a while now. I love what she stands for, her personality, her little quirks, such as her indecisiveness, and so much more. She is just amazing. <33

3. Your least favorite Princess and why?
That unfortunate place belongs to Elsa. I just can't like her! Her backstory was meh,...

Bonjour! I decided to create an article that showed my opinion on the Disney Princesses' names. Names are things that I find interest in, and I haven't seen many articles likes these, so I thought I would have a go. I'm also adding the French version if there is one, just because I felt like it and I love French. The pictures are there for no real reason, just as a visual break from all of the writing. Feel free to disagree with my opinions of course.

Cinderella's actual name is never mentioned in the film

At the moment I'm really obsessed with Merida. She's an absolutely phenomenal character whom I can't believe I haven't always loved, but it really bothers me how almost no one sees her the way I do. Not that there aren't Merida fans, there are quite a lot, but they, as a whole, seem to like her more for the trope she represents; strong, a fighter, doesn't need a man, etc. whilst that couldn't be further from the reason I love her. Much of this article will probably be random ramblings or things that I've probably said before, but I really wanted to talk about Merida.

I've already talked in large...

Why I love Merida

As far as some of you know, I'm a HUGE Merida fan and supporter, and when she is insulted or even not shown any gradual love compared to the other Princesses I fight and stand up for her. Recently she's been gaining the love she deserved, I don't know where it started but as soon as that happened I felt enlightened with delight. I secretly {not a secret anymore} feel that I had something to do with the love she's been gaining, but of corse, that's an over exaggeration but I'll just pretend it happened like that. When Merida is called ugly or plain my face turns red but an...

This is my first article here and I hope you like it. I'm getting tired people calling Disney (Especially Disney Princess) sexist. So I decided to write an article about why I think the Princes don't really save the princesses.

Sorry for no pictures!

1.Snow White
The Prince in Snow White doesn't really do anything. He just sings a serenade and disappears till the end of the movie.
He didn't fight the Evil Queen. He didn't really do anything.
Snow White should thank the dwarfs for saving her life not the Prince. If the dwarfs buried her, the Prince would never find her and kiss her.
So all he did...

An interview of Frozen
An interview of Frozen
So, after seeing Frozen with two of my cousins and one of my little sisters, I decided to interview them on what they thought of the movie. I hope you enjoy, but if you really hate swearing you might want to be careful because they swear a lot. Anyway, here's a bit about the people I'm interviewing:

•Nora: Is my cousin, who is a year older than me. Her favorite Disney movie is Aladdin and her favorite princess is Tiana.

•Elene: Is my little sister, who is a year younger than me. Her favorite Disney movie and princess is Pocahontas.

•Jakob: Is my cousin, who is also about a year younger than...

Chapter 4: The New World

All that one could hear was the cold, jarring sound of the shovel hitting the earth and the muffled sobs of the princesses. The shoveling comes to a sudden stop, and Mulan says, "So before we bury her does anyone have any last words?"

Everyone is quiet. No one knows quite the right words to say. Quite the right words to form how much Aurora actually meant to them. Suddenly Snow raises your hand. "I do," she says. She quietly makes her way over to Aurora's cold, dead body.

She clears her throat, and starts to speak shakily. "All I've done is cry the past few days Aurora,...

People constantly criticize the Disney princesses. They say that they are unfeminist, bad role models and terrible decision makers. I know you’re probably thinking: If you don’t like the princesses, why are you on this Fanpop? The thing is, I do like the princesses. And I think that a lot of the criticism they receive is ridiculous. I could write article after article in defense of the DPs, but what I want to focus on is their relationships. The relationships in princess movies have been bashed for years. But I think they’re healthier than Disney- Haters care to admit. And I intend to...

Hey guys! This is my first article, so try not to be too critical! I am pretty indecisive sometimes, so I'm not making a full-on list yet. I'm just doing my top 3 ;)

3. Rapunzel

I absolutely LOVE the movie Tangled! I think Rapunzel is a great princess because she isn't totally ladylike and I personally think she's a good role model. I mean, she is super nice to everybody and stands up for what she believes in. Finally, I think I'm similar to Rapunzel because I REALLY like art and we have overprotective parents. (Except mine are not nearly as bad)

2. Belle

Again, Beauty and the Beast is one of my...

I have a bone to pick. The people on Fanpop keep saying that the DP couples would make terrible parents. The movies are about them when they are in their teens (or in some of the princes’ cases, early to mid-twenties) so they aren’t actually going to have kids until they mature a little more. This is my ranking of who I think would be most naturally suited to parenting. If an adult is good person, they can learn to be a good parent, but it is true that some people have more natural ability.

(Final Disclaimer: I am only counting the original films. I seriously disagree with the characterization...
