10.Beast gives Belle the Library

This library is KICK ASS. Seriously, when I was a kid I wanted to run through it and open every book, climb all the ladders. It's like Chuck E. Cheese for nerds. The majesty and enormity of the room astounded me, but the fact the Beast can't read makes me think this room is just a big slap in the face :D Anyway, the scene is wonderful, but not as important as others.

"...this scene is cute, but to me it is not as significant." (ppgbelle4)

"To compare this scene with others, it's less important. Sure, it's sweet, but... Oh... It's impossible to pick one. :( I love them all." (ppv)

"It wasn't that important to me or anything that special." (PrincessVandal)

9.Something There

The only part of this scene that I like is when Belle smacks Beast in the face with a snowball, and when he's like "Duhhhhhhhhhh" holding all the birds. It's a romantic scene that shows the turning of friendship into love.

"I really hate this scene. It makes Beast look like a ponce, Belle looks sort of freaky in it, I hate the song, and Beast's singing voice makes me want to puke." (Straggy)

"As I said before, this song is a bit too repetitive for my tastes." (AllegroGiocoso)

8. Into the West Wing

This is personally my favorite scene in Beauty and the Beast. The score is spectacular; it's my favorite piece of score in any disney movie. I love how there's no talking, the West Wing itself is beautiful in its catastrophic state, Belle has some wonderful shots in this scene, and people loved how it set the tone of Beast's past. But some people just don't feel as gripped by it as others. It's a fun scene until the Beast shows up and goes all Grace Jones on Belle's ass.

"I love this scene. The score is absolutely brilliant. I also love the animation in this scene, I love the darkness and suspense. To me, you can learn a lot about the Beast from this scene, with the picture being torn and how it's all messed up, becuase you assume he did that out of anger." (madisonsavanna)

"I think this one is one of my least favorite scenes in BatB. The rose is the only good thing about the scene." (FullMoonFever)

"It's sort of an introduction to the Beast's past and it explores the darker side of him. I honestly love this scene a lot because the score was amazing and love how the tone and mood was set almost instantly at the beginning of it." (leptitsouris)

7. Balcony / I release you

A very poignant scene in Beauty and the Beast, this is the turning point of Beast's inner transformation from monster to human. You see that the beast inside of him is gone, because he releases Belle, who was, and is, his everything. Some people found this scene touching, others found it boring.

"Anyway, I really like this scene because it reveals another part of the Beast's character, how he changes. He's shy and insecure at first, going to Belle at the bench, and then when he sees Belle is upset, it hurts him. However, what hits me the most is when he looks forward after he hears Belle being upset, and he has this selfless/determined look in his face which pretty much says, "'Even though this will hurt me, and I will be stuck like this if I do this, I am letting her go because I want her to be happy.'" (ppgbelle4)

"Belle just whines... And the "Are you happy here with me?" is kind of boring and weird." (FullMoonFever)

6. Beast's transformation

My second favorite scene in the film, I think it's the best disney transformation there is. It's bright, magical, and I always sit there anticipating the final moment where the light shines and the human face appears, and you see the man beneath the Beast, although he looks like Fabio and Belle's lovechild. It makes his character more real to me. Some people love this scene, others say it takes too long.

"The Transformation Scene Was Really Spectacular, But I Wasn't Moved. It Was Not My Best Scene In The Movie But Hey It's Like That In Fairy Tales Sometimes!" (soxfan89)

"The transformation wasn't very impressive to me at all. It was supposed to be this momentous time, but all I could think was "'hurry up and be human already'" (chameron4eva)

5. The Beast Dies
Maybe the only scene in a top ten of a disney princess movie that includes someone's death, this scene is incredibly heart-wrenching. It shows that Belle showed her love, so she thinks, a little too late. Here Beast finally can confess his true feelings for Belle. But others found this scene dragged out.

"Hm, it wasn`t much more than Belle`s crying." (LionaChoco)

"Please...please don't leave me. I love you." is losing?!? Come on.
I don't understand how it can be worse than the 1st scene, really.
It's touching, dramatic. Tears of real suffering do mean nothing for people, yes? (ppv)

4. The Stained-Glass Intro
A breakthrough in an intro to a disney film, this scene wasn't composed of active characters but rather stained glass images portrayed photo-like. The narration in this scene is brilliant and touching, and sets up a stellar mood to the film. While this scene is wonderful, some people found it unimportant compared to the ones remaining.

"It's visually appealing, but the movie can live without it."(ppgbelle4)

"I'd say I love the others more than this one." (fhghu)

3. The End
Funny that the end comes right after the intro on this list. I've always found the reprise of "Beauty and the Beast" quite beautiful. I like how Belle and Beast don't talk in this end, they just dance and gaze at each other, and the stained glass ending is brilliant. Most people said it was a touch repetitive, and that they found the kiss more to be the happy ending. Babette skanks out. Plus we see Lumiere and Cogsworth have a lovers quarrel, because they clearly want each other. :D

"Wow...this was difficult. "Beauty and th Beast" is such a sweet romantic scene, especially when Belle lays her head on his chest, and the kiss is so powerful...I LOVE the end...especially how it ends with the stained glass window, I just like the other scenes more." (Dreamygal)

"For me, the happy ending was when Beast turned back into a prince and Belle and him had that fireworks kiss. Although I love "Tale as old as time...", it was a bit anticlimactic due to the previous scene. "(leptitsouris)

2.Beauty and the Beast
Probably the most iconic scene of the movie, it's no wonder it made it this far. You really see Belle and Beast fit together here, and it's the true show of their love. Their dance is so harmonious and yet humble. Some people found it boring, though, leaving it just short of the first place spot.

"This scene is one of best Disney scenes ever.
Angela Lansbury is so great there. And the ball room is gorgeous. You want to be there, want to see how they dance, how Belle leans to the Beast, how he's unbelievably happy, how he first doesn't know what to do, and you cheer his up with Lumiere: Go, Beast, we're with you! And then the light is putting out, and song is too... And you feel how it makes you feel creepy all over. Because it's a perfect scene. "(ppv)

"It's sweet but a little boring" (SailorM91)

1. "It is you!"
It's a perfect, perfect moment. Beast reveals himself as a human finally, Belle looks in his eyes and can tell it's him. Belle and Beast finally kiss, and it sets off an explosion of fireworks as the castle changes back.

" kiss is so epic, with the effects and the score!" <3 )ppgbelle4)

"They just went "erm, this is boring, I KNOW FIREWORKS"... and let's be honest, when you're over like 8, fireworks aren't quite as fun." (Straggy) [<---have to disagree with that, I still love fireworks!]
2. Fighter dress
2. Fighter dress
Now it's on to my least favourite princess Merida. I've never seen Brave but I feel that she is strict and quite horrible at times. However we are here to discuss her outfits but before we begin, there is just one Rapunzel dress I forgot to mention that is her pink dress she wears with short hair il explain that quickly.

1. Rapunzel pink dress
WI think short hair rapunzel wears a smarter, prettier all pink dress. Like Auroras formal dress except with more features such as flowers on the dress and really nice Tiara to wear I feel that this is a better dress than her first dress she wears. 9/10...

Hello Merida.
Hello Merida.
Since I had watched both movies, here are my thoughts on both movies since they're both Celtic and centres around motherly love.

Quest for Camelot

I started watching this film back in 2007, and I was quite amazed that the song 'The Prayer' because I did not know that this song was originally from this movie! The story-line was just like our typical Disney Princess movie but overall, I feel bad for Garrett and I'm glad that the movie shows more sympathy for him.
The songs reminded of the Lion King where we have an antagonist having their own theme song and a song for the main character as sung...

I started this article "series" almost a year ago, but abandoned my fandoms for a while (very sorry to the people who were looking forward to it), but now I'm back and want to continue the articles (hopefully consistently), please enjoy!

If any of you are familiar with character stylization or really art in general you might like this article. I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the author of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone...

Hey guys, I'm back with yet another article in my series! This will be another short one, since there aren't very many purple outfits in the DP lineup. So sad, since purple is my favorite color. I hope you guys enjoyed it!

5. Ariel's purple seashells

I wasn't expecting this to be the first outfit eliminated, so imagine my surprise when the vast majority of fans voted for it! Most users seemed to think it doesn't really count as an outfit since it's basically just a bra. Personally I really like how Ariel looks in this - it's such a classic mermaid look!

Can...

Alright guys, this article's going to be one of the longer ones in this series, if not the longest. There are so many blue outfits among the DPs! I'm also really regretting not including the blue-green outfits in the green countdown instead of this one, because it ended up being so long, but oh well. I hope you enjoyed it anyway!

10. Mulan's blue sleepwear

I didn't think this outfit deserved to be the first one eliminated. I like the style of the top, and it looks very comfy to sleep in. I can see why people wouldn't like it though.

Anyways, this one is the most...

Cheer up, Beast.
Cheer up, Beast.
Hi guys, I remember that a few months ago. I wrote about Gerard Butler playing the beast, so here are my other choices, including Butler himself and my reasons why. So, here we go!

1. Joaquin Phoenix

I saw video clips of him in the 2000 film, Quills. Which I think it set around the same time as Beauty and the Beast, I personally think that he's the perfect candidate for the character.

2. Patrick Wilson

This musical theatre veteran had play in popular musicals, in the likes of Carousel, Oklahoma and as Raoul in the 2004 Phantom of the Opera. He serenades us with his singing and is also a perfect...

Hi everyone!

So it's been about six months since I joined Fanpop, and about as much time since I published my first DP article ranking the DPs. This article will explain my new ranking of the Disney princesses (including Anna and Elsa) from lowest to highest in my opinion. Hope you like it!

13. Elsa (same spot)

Unfortunately, Elsa’s still at the bottom of my list. This is mainly because she doesn’t seem to exhibit any worry about the kingdom and sister she leaves behind after they find out about her ice powers, which is disconcerting since she spent her whole life...

Brotherly love
Brotherly love
Hi guys, since I had compare both Titanic and Frozen. There is another movie that I notice that is similar to the latter, and that movie is Brother Bear.

Brother Bear

Apart from the sibling love, Kenai actually reminds me of Elsa, because like Elsa, he needs to have brotherly love with Koda. He was also mistakenly thought to be the same bear in his brother, Denahi's eyes that killed his 2 brothers and became vengeful until the ending scene when Kenai gets turn back into a human.
Koda is very much like Anna, because they're both optimistic. It wasn't until that he found out the truth that Kenai...

Disney Princess movies deserves more weddings
Disney Princess movies deserves more weddings
After the article of wedding gowns for DPs, it got me thinking as to how would each princess get married, what would be the theme of the wedding and so on. I love weddings! So, I have thought of theme based weddings for all princesses. Hope you enjoy this. This part talks about only classic princesses.

Snow: The Enchanted Woods
After all the life and death crisis, I think a private forest wedding ceremony, just between the prince(and his close family) and the dwarfs would be a harmonious affair. After all, this is where she found her life back and the family she's ever known. And being her,...
