Hello everyone! This is the first of many articles soon to come and I hope you enjoy reading this just as much as I did writing it :)
For each article I will write about;
1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child
2. How much I have forgotten
3. Princess (will she be higher on my list or lower?)
4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my list or lower?)
5. Rating
6. How much has my opinion changed?
7. Would I watch it again?
Tonight's rewatch: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Last time watched: 2001 (seriously, how can I consider myself a Disney Princess fan if I waited THIS LONG to watch this movie again?)
Lets start off with how much I liked this movie when I was a kid...
To be totally honest I didn't really like this movie as much as Aladdin, The Lion King, or Lady and the Tramp. It wasn't that this movie bored me, I actually liked some parts of it, but the problem with this movie was it scared me. A lot. This was one of the few Disney movies that actually scared me as a kid (examples: Pinocchio and Hunchback of Notre Dame) so I never watched this movie too often. I wouldn't even go on the Snow White ride in Disneyland until I was an adult.
How much of this movie have I forgotten:
I'm only a few minutes in and I'm remembering why I used to be so scared of this movie. This movie is dark. I remembered that the Evil Queen wanted Snow White's heart cut out but I forgot how creepy the woodsman looked when he was about to cut out her heart and when she's running around the forest and it's all dark and the trees look scary and stuff. For a little kid that can be really intense but at least now I can watch it and actually appreciate all the work the animators put into making those trees look so scary. The Evil Queen herself has moments where she looks scary even before her transformation. Speaking of, the transformation wasn't as scary as I remember it being but the way the Queen says, "My hands!" put a little shudder up my spine.
I've also forgotten how sweet and gentle Snow White is. I've compared her to Fluttershy from My Little Pony in the past but I really am seeing a similarity, from her sweet voice to how gentle she is with the animals. I used to make fun of how naive she was but watching this now and remembering how old she is I can understand why she would go to a stranger's home and clean up and then let an "innocent" old woman inside. Heck, you'd have to be made of stone to not help a little old woman out.
And I can't believe I forgot how cute the animals were! One of my favorite things about Disney movies is the animal sidekicks, whether they be silly sidekicks like Dante or Jaq and Gus or serious sidekicks like Flit or Maximus.
The dwarfs made me laugh the whole time too. I can't remember the last time a Disney sidekick made me laugh this much (besides Genie, of course). It felt like I was watching an old Mickey Mouse cartoon. The dwarfs interactions with Snow White were so enjoyable to watch too, even Grumpy being, well, grumpy towards Snow White. Even though the dwarfs and Snow White really only knew each other for one night their friendship feels more real than some other friendships we've seen without it being so rushed. And there didn't even need to be some kind of test of friendship or anything to prove like movies today. The dwarfs and Snow White care about each other through the whole movie without any conflict and that's so refreshing to watch.
While I definitely remember that the transformation scene scared me as a kid I forgot how much I loved the potion making process. It's something I never see in anything involving a witch and while that disappoints me it feels right that we don't see anyone put together a potion the same way the Evil Queen does because then it wouldn't be so unique.
I still couldn't cry during Snow White's funeral but it's not like it wasn't still sad, it just takes a lot to make me cry while watching a movie :P And while Snow White and her Prince are still low on my favorite couple list, I can't say I didn't love the true love's kiss at the end or the love songs they sang.
Princess:
I love Snow White! I thought she was so cute and sweet and I love her voice. She has moved up my favorite princess list. She was number 10 on my favorite princess list, but now she's 6.
Movie:
I had so much fun watching this with my husband and it brought back so many memories and so much nostalgia. This movie was also 10 on my favorite princess movie list, and is now 6.
Rating: 7/10
How much has my opinion changed?
So much! As I've said before this movie brought up so much nostalgia and I had fun watching it. This really was the movie that started it all and it deserves all the love it gets.
Would I watch it again?
Yes! And this time I won't wait 18 years.
Okay this was fun to write and it was fun watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I'm excited for next week when I'll be watching Sleeping Beauty.

The Way
Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and Pocahontas will fit the song, especially when the respective love ones see them for the first time.
Without You
Taken from his 'A Thousand Different Ways' album, originally sung by Mariah Carey. Eric would sing this when he rescues Ariel and vice versa.
This is the Night
From the Beast's perspective, he reassures himself that this is the night to admit his love for Belle. Including Rapunzel/ Flynn, Aladdin/ Jasmine and Anna/ Kristoff.
Here You Come Again
Mulan and Shang will sing in the finale of the film, they could not hide feelings to each other.
Clay Aiken Fan, Anyone?
Do you like Clay Aiken and do you all agree with the choices?
To all disney princesses fans
My poll i created about the new icon has raised some negative feedback about the new proposed one. Mainly because I have not commented about it on the Disney Princesses forum.
Therefore I am very sorry I had no idea you had to voice out your idea first and the poll will be abandoned. I'm not sure how you delete a poll but it's fair to say that the original icon has 80% so it should win.
Please any questions or concerns please comment below.
I hope I haven't lost any popularity because of this.

Let Them Have It!
Of course, if Disney were to make a movie about them together. The fairy godmother will give them a dragon stone that will turn them into dragons with each special powers! It will make the story interesting.
Don't Take It!
The story will be to dark for a Disney film, unless if Disney could tone down the appearance of the dragons themselves.
Dragon or Not?
Here are my thoughts of this theory, so what do you think?
Hebrew (Einat Azulay)
Okay, She sounds relatively fresh and young. However, she sounds a bit heavy and stiff at certain parts, especially the first part of the chorus. (Ratings: 8.5/10
Arabic (Shorouq Salah)
I absolutely love Arabic music and their voices, unlike her Hebrew counterpart. She sounds smooth and it makes the audience relax and get along with Anna easily, especially in For the First Time in Forever! (Ratings:10/10)
For the First Time in Forever!
So, only 2 were feature because I'm not really sure who is the Persian actress for Anna sadly to say. Our final destination is the Americas!
