I am decided to sort DPs to Hogwarts Houses. I'll illustrate this article with pictures where each DP best exhibits the traits of house she belongs( Gryffindors do something risky, Hufflepuffs are doing something useful or exhibit frinedliness, Ravenclaws read or explore something, Slytherins are tricking someone or dream about something). Warning: I have some unpopular opinions but I'll try to explain them. This is how I interpretent Hogwarts Houses and their values:
Gryffindors are first of all are brave, courageous, outspoken and risky. They are also often progressive, rebellious, mischievous, playful, adventurous and/or have a strong sense of justice. They are more likely than members of other Houses be athletic and outdoorsy( but not all of Gryffindors are, look at Hermione). Their defining trait is bravery.
Hufflepuffs are first of all extremely people-oriented. They are very warm, friendly, helpful, loyal, tolerant, humble, they enjoy taking care of others and have a need to useful. They are giving and nurturing, they often create material goods. They are less likely to be jerks than the members of other Houses. My favorite Hogwarts House( but unfortunate I don't fit it much).
Ravenclaws highly values knowledge. They are inquisitive, cultured, intelligent and creative.
Slytherins are ambitious, competitive, dedicated towards goals, cunning and resourceful. They care about their public image a lot. If Slytherin holds someone dear, he(she) is willing to do everything for this person. Can be patriotic and family-oriented( some of them). While I dislike all canon Slytherin characters and find them reformed jerks at best, being virtuous doesn't prevent ambtious and resourceful DP from being sorted by me to Slytherin. And being flawed doesn't prevent DP from being sorted to other House because James Potter and Sirius Black had a mean streak and Luna Lovegood was harassed by other Ravenclaws.

Snow White - Hufflepuff

Pretty obvious choice. She is very friendly, giving, motherly and caring. She isn't too proud to work as servant, despite being a princess. She remains optimistic, despite losing comfort and status( no wonder because which neither of this very important to Hufflepuff). True Hufflepuff.

Cinderella-Hufflepuff

Cinderella's defining trait are her tolerance, patience and soft-spokeness. All of these her awesome Hufflepuff.

Aurora - Hufflepuff

Yes, all three classic DPs are Hufflepuffs in my opinion. Sure, they have different personalities but traits this three share make them a perfect fit for this House. We don't know much about Aurora but everything we know screams Hufflepuff to me. She loves nature and is a friend to animals. She is sweet, loyal and obedient. I didn't sort any offical non-classic DP to Hufflepuff(I would sort Anna and Giselle and princess Su from Mulan 2 and probably(!) Elsa but they aren't offical DPs).

Ariel - Ravenclaw

Well, sure Ariel isn't cautious but she her thist for knowledge is undeniable, she didn't only wanted to join human world because of Eric. And you know... I can name the capital of any Latin American country very quickly and the capital of any Indochinese country because I am VERY good in geography and in many other areas too. But I no more cautious or practical than Ariel... So why not?
However, she an excellent fit Gryffindor too, I agree.

Belle - Ravenclaw

Ariel and Belle are rather similiar personality-wise than not to me. They are both Gryffinclaws to me. This combination makes them devoted explorers whose thirst for knowledge leads them to trouble at time. Belle also has some Hufflepuff( such as tolerance and ability to forgive) and Slytherin( such as some arrogance) traits too.

Jasmine - Gryffindor

Most of people sort her to Slytherin because she is resourceful and cunning but I don't think these are here defining traits. Jasmine is impulsive and outspoken for most of time. She doesn't care about her public image, she is mischievous, adventurous and playful. This isn't Slytherin at all. She is also progressive and upredjuiced which is VERY Gryffindor, status means nothing to her. She is so also very willing to leave the life full of luxuries. So she is more Gryffindor with some Slytherin tendencies than Slytherin.

Pocahontas - Gryffindor

Almost the very first things we learn about Poca is that she is risk-loving, playful and outdoorsy which is so Gryffindor. She doesn't want quiet and stable and dislikes Kocoum for being to serious. Gryffindors tend to be fun-loving. She is also progressive and has a strong sense of justice. Concerning her bravery, it's undeniable IMO.

Mulan - Slytherin

Another unpopular opinion. Mulan is extremely cunning, resourceful, ambitious( the reason she remained in army after Shang send her away) and has a strong desire for positive attention and admiration. She is outspoken at times but definetely much less outspoken than Jasmine. She is also somewhat secretive because she never tell Chi Fu what she thinks about him. Sure, she risked her life to save her father but it's still very Slytherin because Slytherins are often very family-oriented( even Malfoys whom I can't stand). This Mulan's act isn't as selfless as many people say because there is no parents that would to survive their kids. I know it because I am extremely to afraid to lose my elders and I am very awared that this is selfish. I also know that my elders would never want me to risk my life to save them. So Mulan's selflessness is highly exaggerated. Probably she also thought that she is more likely to survive the war but this is again pretty Slytherin. Mulan has some Gryffindor and Hufflepuff traits though. But I still think Slytherin fits her the best! And she is wearing a green armor!

Tiana - Slytherin
It doesn't look like Hufflepuff dream to me at all.
It doesn't look like Hufflepuff dream to me at all.

I don't see her as Hufflepuff at all, despite being hard-working( her hard work looks like dedication to goal rather than nurturingness like in Snow's case). Tiana is very ambitious( her Almost There song proofs it), she has leadership skills, she likes luxuries and there is some vanity in her too. She can seem somewhat cold to strangers as opposed to how devoted she is to her father( Slytherins are often have cold facade). Some people say that she isn't Slytherin because she didn't agree to destroy Naveen's life but by that logic only ruthless and unscurpulous monsters belong to Slytherin. I can't imagine any DP destroying other's life without remorse. I don't think that Tiana really fits any other house but Slytherin.

Rapunzel - Ravenclaw

Rapunzel is very inquistive, multitalented and creative. She doesn't only shows to hold books during the opening song but also visited the library during Kingdom Dance and really enjoyed exploring maps. However, she is so well-rounded that would also be an excellent fit for Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and even Slytherin too.

Merida - Gryffindor

She is very risky, athletic, mischievous and fun-loving. Also impulsive and reckless. And not all reformed jerks belong to Slytherin!
DEFENSE OF SNOW WHITE RUNNING INTO (AND IN) THE FOREST

(author's note: Snow White will forever be my favourite princess... I also have thoughts about her apology afterwards but I'll post that later when I actually put it into words and write it)

1. RUNNING INTO THE FOREST

Firstly, Snow White goes from picking wildflowers, humming “One Song” to herself, helping a baby bird… to nearly being killed and realizing that everything that had just happened (=break from being virtually slave) was for that purpose.

Out of self-preservation - and not weakness - she runs into the forest. As of now, she...

Okay, so honestly, I loved this movie. But here is my review.

1 = How did Elsa get her ice powers? It's never told throughout the entire movie. Surely it wasn't something passed down from her parents, because they didn't have them, and they couldn't even keep Elsa in control.

2 = Admit it. We all knew Hans wasn't going to stay right when Kristoff and Anna started their journey. We all knew he was going to end up being her boyfriend/love interest, and Hans was going to e pushed aside.

3 = Elsa wasn't given a lot of screen time. I mean, wasn't the whole movie circled around trying to get her back...

My real name is Althea Smith, 14 years old from NY and I'm a big fan of Disney especially Frozen and Disney Princess! I just saw this site while surfing the net for some Kristoff icons. I find it interesting and fun so, I joined!

I'm cheerful, awkward, and quirky and I love people like that! I hate people who always pouts and who's always angry and hot headed. I have lots of favorites, especially foods like ice-cream (cookies...

Chapter 2: The Cook That Always Makes Delicious Food
Anika woke up one lovely morning and went down to eat breakfast and read today's newspaper, she saw that she was mentioned in one of the articles, this is what it stood on that article:
The Cook That Always Makes Delicious Food
There's no one in her hometown that doesn't know who she is, Anika is easily the best and most well known cook at the moment, everyone loves her food and she even makes professional meals look flawless and tasteful. She always tries new meals, there's very few meals that she doesn't like. She doesn't want to tell what...

So here’s how this article will work. I rank each one by song and score and then I’ll add up the placements that each soundtrack got and that will be there overall placement. Since the countdown was done it two different ways (Song and Score) I believe there are no ties. The Favorite and Least Favorites Songs were almost all picked by ten amazing people!!! Give yourself a cookie!

11th Score
The Princess and the Frog
Score done by Randy Newman

This is my favorite score out of all the DP scores and so I was really sad to see it go out. But I kind of can agree with the reasons.

I decided to do something a little different and do a collab article with my five year old little sister! :D Obviously, the descriptions of hers will not be too brilliant, so I will be doing a reporter/interviewee style for her descriptions. The thing in the italics are the things I said. Normal writing is her response.

Annika's #11
Cinderella

I love the color of her eyes, do not get me wrong, but honestly, they have always creeped me out. They have their really awkward moments, and I have just no been a fan.

So, I just finished watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, because I plan in rewatching all Disney Princess movies in order. I'll also write a review for each after I watch it - except Frozen, maybe, since I already did, but I may write a comparision about what changed in my opinions.

I'll also try giving each part (plot, music, etc.) a score, but I warn you I can't be too harsh.

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, the fairest one of all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The Plot:

I see almost no problems with the plot. in addition to being concise, it's charming and captures...

Frozen Movie Review!
Hi everyone! I stumbled upon the Disney Princess page while I was reading movie reviews for Frozen. I absolutely love Disney and enjoyed reading the articles posted by other members, and I wanted to write my opinion on how Frozen compares to the other Disney Princess films, its faults, and where it succeeds.

I broke the review up into 3 sections: Music, Story & Characters.

Music
Unfortunately, like Princess and the Frog, I believe Frozen only really had one stand out song (“Let it Go”), the rest weren’t particularly enjoyable or memorable. “In Summer” and...

I've been a part of this fanclub for a while, and it's my favorite club on Fanpop, so I want to share with anyone willing to read, my Disney Princess list. A lot of factors take place during their list including, personality, style and enjoyment of their feature films. This is my opinion so please don't be offended by anything. Also note, that I don't HATE any Disney Princess. I do hold all of them dear to me, even if I complain about them.

11) Merida- Before you all roll your eyes, I have to admit that when I saw the first commercial for Brave I was so excited and forced my boyfriend to take...

Boring and Too Short
Boring and Too Short
The Disney Princesses have the most amazing hair, like ever in my opinion anyways, though some more so than others. So here's my list starting at the bottom.
13. Snow White
Sorry Snow White but your hair is just boring. It's super short and I've just never been a fan of short hair. I like that it's curly but that's pretty much it.

12. Tiana
Her hair is really only slightly more interesting than Snow White's.I hate that she only wears it in a bun through out the entire movie, I wish she would wear it down. I like her curls though, they are cute.

11. Cinderella
I find her hair pretty bland as...

I did an article on this a while ago, but my opinions have changed a lot since then and Merida wasn't a member of the group back then so I think it's time for an update. Also, I believe all the princesses are BEAUTIFUL so even my last place is great :)

11. Merida

It's too cliche, I won't say I'm in hate! It pains me, pains me, that I have to put Merida in last, especially since she gets oh so much undeserved hate, although I feel she deserves last. Her hair is amazing! I love the color, the texture, the OOMPH! It's all just so awesome to look at. I also like her body, it's very realistic...

I've written this type of article so many times now, but I felt like writing an updated list anyway, as soon as I've watched all the DP Movies I might update the list again

11. Merida

She's the only Disney Princess I don't like at all. First of all she's way too rebellious and now I feel that Disney should take a break from those types of princesses. Also she's very whiny and her personality isn't very interesting to me and she annoys me so much

10. Tiana

Despite only being 10th I like Tiana, I love how determinded she is over opening her own resturant. But what I love the most about...

I am sorry that I too a long hiatus, but I had A LOT to do in the end of August to now, and I am going to finish this series, so here I am again. I decided to start a series of analyzing the DP Couples in depth (and later, the other Disney Couples) after I got bored one day, and wanted to write a series of articles. You can recommend me which couple to do next in the couples section. So here is how it is going to go. I will first explain my overall statement about the couples in a paragraph, and then I will analyze each scene to look at the inner and outer feelings of the characters individually...

One of the reasons to why I love most of the Disney Princesses is because I can relate to them so I decided to make a list of that, hope you'll like this article

11. Merida

She's the only Disney Princess that I can't relate to AT ALL, the closest would be that we both enjoy being outside and long for freedom and the relationships between our mothers is sort of similar in the beginning, but after Elinor became a bear she and Merida's relationship became so different from me and my mother's. But other than that we're each other's total opposites, Merida wants to break traditions, I sometimes...

Every Disney Princess needs and Villain and every Villain needs to get defeats so we can have our happy ending! So which villain had the best defeat/death? (Because not all of them died). Here we go!
(If you haven't seen all the films, I will be spoiling the deaths by saying what happened, so...be careful)

11: Governor Ratcliffe
If this was a best Villain's singing voice I think he would win...but sadly this was a best defeat and Ratcliffe that is in one way that you failed really badly in. Here's what happened. He shot at Pocahontas's dad, but Smith took the bullet, and everyone got mad and...

I don't mean to start off by sounding so corny but...I JUST DON'T GET IT! One minute, we hear about a new DP, the next we hear about 2! Now we're hearing about spoiler after spoiler after spoiler! I know there's a thread for spoilers on here, but that's not what I'm talking about right now. I'm talking about how CONFUSING it's all sounding! We don't even see a real trailer, we hear about books being released before the movie comes out, what's next? *Takes a deep breath* First off, let me talk alittle about Elsa.

I'd be fine if Elsa was an unofficial DP, but because she's a queen and Anna's sister,...

Princess Aurora, gold of sunshine in her hair, lips that shame the red, red rose, and a personality that shames us all.

Now Aurora is not completely bad. She's got a nice voice, she's pretty, everyone remembers her song, "Once Upon a Dream," and of course, the iconic scene of her sleeping in bed (don't get the wrong idea). But man!!! This chick is as bland as I don't know what!!

As far as Disney Princesses go, Aurora is probably the least popular of them and it's kinda plain to see why.

Let's look at it for a minute.

1. Aurora doesn't really do anything besides walk around, look pretty, sing, and...
