Okay we've officially finished the countdown so as promised here's the article featuring the results! This article will not only show the results, each scene will include my thoughts, the thoughts of the participants, and there will be comparisons to the last time I did this countdown!

Here we go!

10. Merida crying and saying sorry to her mom
Original placement: none (it wasn't in the last countdown)
I've had mixed comments about this scene. There were people who said they thought this scene was sad because Merida thought she lost her mom forever but then other people said that Merida should have done this a long time ago. While I do agree that Merida should have apologized a long time ago, I honestly cry when Merida is hugging her bear mom and saying that she's sorry and how her mother had always been there for her. I feel like this scene could have been used at least in the middle of the movie instead of near the end.

9. Ariel crying after King Triton destroyed her collection
Original placement: 13
I've had people say that this scene wasn't sad because "it was just stuff" but here's the thing, to Ariel it wasn't just stuff. This was a collection she had been building for who knows how long and her father just flat out destroyed it. If this was something that happened in real life I doubt there would be anyone just shrugging it off. I'm glad this scene was able to make it to the top ten compared to the last time.

8. Cinderella crying because her mother's dress gets ripped up
Original placement: 4
The whole scene, starting from Tremaine getting the stepsisters to tear up the dress, to Cinderella crying in her garden and losing hope just felt like one big rollercoaster of emotions. There's suspicioun when Tremaine says "I never go back on my word", to nervous realization when Tremaine is pointing out Cinderella's wearing Drizella's beads, shock as the sisters tear the dress apart while Cinderella is begging them to stop, and then sadness when Cinderella is standing there, as she looks at her shredded dress. What makes this so much more sad is-
1. Not only did her friends work so hard on getting the dress ready for her while she worked 2. She was so happy when her friends surprised her with it
3. the dress belonged to her deceased mother.
I feel like this scene could have been higher up on the list

7. "I see nothing!"
Original placement: 14
This one had mixed comments as well; there were people who said the scene didn't last long enough to be sad, that it was just her feeling sorry for herself, etc. It's pretty clear early on in the movie that her family members don't have too much faith in her when she had to meet the matchmaker; Fa Zhou practically begged the ancestors to help Mulan impress the matchmaker, Fa Li said she should have prayed to the ancestors for luck, and Grandma got a lucky cricket. Obviously Mulan's family love her very much but if your family was like this about you wouldn't you have self doubt? Mulan even sang a song about how she had to be someone she wasn't so she wouldn't break her family's heart. I'm glad this scene was ranked higher on this list

6. The King and Queen's scene before releasing the lanterns.
Original placement: 7
I've had people say the scene was too short and that we didn't know too much about these characters. What always got me about this scene was you didn't even need to hear the King or Queen say anything to feel sad, you could see it on their faces how much they missed their baby and how worried they were about her. And you have the Queen looking sad but almost looking like she was trying to assure her husband that there was some hope. Nothing could ever compare to the pain of losing a child, especially if that child was missing for so long and there's no sure way of knowing if that child will be found.

5. The village, the rest of the army, and Shang's father dead
Original placement: None (wasn't in the countdown last time)
Once again, mixed comments. There were people who said it was sad because not only a whole village died but also because Shang lost his father, someone Shang had idolized and clearly loved very much, and then I had comments where it was more shocking than sad. I'd have to say I agree with both! I remember when I was watching this for the first time I was 5 or 6 and I was so surprised that I was seeing the remains of an army and seeing a burned out village with no survivors (in a Disney movie no less!) but then I was so sad to see that Shang's father had died as well. I didn't put this scene in last time because I wasn't so sure if anyone was going to find it sad but then after watching it again before starting this countdown I knew I just had to put it in this countdown

4. The dwarfs crying because of Snow White's death
Original placement: 3
In this countdown and the last one would have a few votes throughout the countdown about how it was hard to be sad when it was obvious she was going to come back. However, this is one of those death scenes that will tug at your heartstrings even if we all knew there were going to be a happy ending. This scene was a good length, the organ music playing was sad, and the way the characters were animated when they cried was done so well. I don't know why, but when Grumpy starts crying I just lose it.

3. Ariel crying at the pier
Original placement: 5
I remember the last time I did this countdown I had this comment where it was Ariel's own fault and that's why it wasn't sad. This time it was the opposite, I had comments about how sad it was that she was losing her freedom. Those of you who've seen my comments or favorite princess list would know that Ariel isn't exactly my favorite princess and that I question her choice in just selling her soul for a guy she barely knew. However I did feel really sad for Ariel when she was not only losing a guy she loved, she was going to lose her freedom, never see her family and friends again, and live forever as an ugly plant in Ursula's cave. If that doesn't make you sad I don't know what to tell you

2. Beast's death
Original placement: 1
This was a really well done death scene, I can't think of any death scene that tops this one (besides number 1 on the lsit) Even though we all knew Beast was going to be okay here's why this scene was so sad:
1. The music, my goodness, the music was done so well with this scene
2. "At least I got to see you one last time"
3. That's really Paige O'Hara crying. She was so commited to the role that she made herself cry so intensly that the directors had to ask if she was okay
4. The way Belle was animated as she cried and pleaded him not to die was perfect enough to bring some tears to the viewers' eyes. Like the way she covered her mouth in shock and shook her head.
5. And then we see the last petal falling and the servants are sad because not only is their master dead, they're trapped as enchanted objects forever.

1. Eugene's death
Original placement: 2
I'm going to be honest; I didn't think this scene was going to last long in either countdown. I mean the first words in the movie were literally "This is the story of how I died" so we all knew it was going to be okay. I remember 18 year old me was watching this the first time and thinking "Wow, thanks for the spoiler..." but then when the actual death scene came up...I was still crying. I've even read some Rapunzel stories when I was a kid and I still wasn't expecting Rapunzel to be able to heal Eugene with her tears. But all of that aside, here's some reasons why people found this scene so sad.
1. Rapunzel wanting so badly to heal Eugene that she's promising to give up her freedom (she never, ever breaks a promise, remember?)
2. Eugene begging Rapunzel not to heal him because he doesn't want her to live the rest of her life locked up
3. And then there's the sacrifice Eugene made. Eugene, a man who at the beginning of the movie left behind two partners to be arrested without a second thought, tried to manipulate Rapunzel's love for Gothel to go back to the tower, and was going to use the thugs at the Snuggly Duckling to scare Rapunzel enough to make her want to go back to her tower, cut off all of Rapunzel's hair without hesitation or a second thought because while knowing he was going to die without it he knew at least she'd be free.
4. Rapunzel tearfully singing the healing song even though she probably knew it wouldn't work
5. "You were my new dream" "And you were mine"
6. And finally, Rapunzel soflty singing the song one last time after he's gone while a tear falls from her face

I hope you guys had fun with this countdown and I hope you all like the results! :)
Hi. I'm new here and since everyone was doing this list I decided to give it a try too. :) Thanks for letting me share this with you. :3

Okay then, number 10. Is Anastasia (Anastasia)
I have to admit she looks a little bit older than 18. Her appearance is a little plain, but still I like her fiery character and hair.

9. Is Ariel (Disney's The Little Mermaid, really sorry, guys) And she wouldn't even be on this list if it weren't for her looks. I've always liked mermaids. (When I was little I pretended to be one) and she has lovely hair and an adorable face, but to me, she's just too perky, childish...

Wow, it's taken me forever to write this but I've finally finished it! This was one of the most difficult lists I've ever written because I find all of the princesses very pretty. Let's just establish that right now - none of the princesses are unattractive, so please don't be offended if I say there's a certain aspect about one of them that I don't like. Enjoy!

11. Jasmine
People have said it before, and I’ll say it again: Jasmine looks a bit like an alien. It’s her eyes. They get to me. They’re too slanted and the eyelashes seem weird. On top of this, her body is incredibly unrealistic....

Mother
So I did this countdown to see which of our non-mothering princesses would be the best mother…the results for me were a bit shocking and disappointing (Just for me I’m sure the rest of you guys were happy or at least kind of happy). Anyway here it is. All around let’s hope we don’t have another Ariel mother moment.

10: Jasmine
Three mother who are the same. Kim K, Skokie and Jasmine, they really just don’t have the patience be good mothers. All three around would just give the baby to their maids or nannies or Genie to take care of while they go off and have fun and do shopping....

Y'all know my photos of the DP's with makeup on, right? Well, if you must know, as soon as each princess wins a round in the polls with a different look, that pic of her will go to my finals round. I've got all 13! YAY! In each round I've been posting, if a different look for each princess wins, she'll go to the finals. Now let me explain how this works.

The 3rd place princess will get a collage of her own looks.

The 2nd place princess will get a poll of ALL of her looks and you get to decide which one looks best.

The 1st place winner will get a look of your choice!

The princesses who are going to the finals round are: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Anna, and Elsa.

As soon as the next poll comes out, vote for your favorite look! :)

UPDATE: All the princesses have won a round.

Guys, Merida is getting so much hate over Fan-pop! So today, I am going to write an article about how Merida is like Jasmine in many ways. Why I chose Jasmine is that Merida is like Jasmine too, and I think you should listen to this.

First off, Merida and Jasmine DO NOT want to be princesses. Why? Because they both WANT to be free. They also had to be married by someone they DIDN'T love. And they didn't want that. They want to follow their own path, and they should get some pats on their shoulders for that. Secondly, they pretty much are stubborn. They are pretty hot headed too.

All right, this...

One Queen to rule them all
One Queen to rule them all
I did a countdown for both the princes and the princesses. I saw on done a long time back and this time the results were different. Here it is for the princesses

10: Ariel
The Queen of the People and the Fish
The Queen of the People and the Fish

Why is it during a best at something wise she’s first one out? Maybe because she has the attention span of a middle schooler girl sleepover (Do not go to one of those!) and she’s not the best at making good choices. In fact her choices left her and Eric in a hard spot right after they got married. To Fish or not to Fish, is she for the fishermen or the fish. Oh well, Fish are friends...

I couldn't narrow it down to ten, so I decided to just do my top 13 Disney Princess songs. Some of these will be a shock, while some of them are so awesome it's hard not to love them, sooo let's begin. (I still haven't figured out how to put pictures in the article, so please don't hold it against me)

13. Sing Sweet Nightingale

Sing Sweet Nightingale is my favorite Cinderella song. I'm talking about Cindy's part of coarse. It's just so underrated...I feel so bad for Cindy in that song!!! Lucifer is a meanie. I just picture Cindy wishing she was a nightingale *7% to fly away, 93% to peck the heck...

Get ready for the stupidest story ever......*If I were you, I'd leave now*

The two good faries had already given Aurora her gifts of Beauty and Song, but Merryweather still had hers to give. Merryweather was just about to give her gift, but then, out of no where, the evil and diabolical....wait where is she? "Cut. Where's Maleficent? We can't do this film without her, she is the only interesting character in this story *not my view, not my view, not my view*. Okay, change in plans, Merryweather give your gift now, andddd action." Merryweather then sprinkled her magic and said her words that...

This lineup I think is one of my finest! Joining Merida on it will be more exciting, some changes in ranks do occurred but, here it is...

11. Snow White

Likes: kindness, skin tone, her patience, lips
Dislikes: voice, hair, eyes, dress

I like her but I don't love her, the others are just better than her that's why she is in the bottom.

10. Aurora

Likes: hair, lips, voice, lips, elegance, gracefulness
Dislikes: personality, attitude, appeal

She is really a beautiful princess, but being Disney Princess is not about that though it affects. Her overall characteristics is poor, but overall I think her...

Chapter 1
It was an ideal place to have a picnic, go swimming, or eat an ice cream in North Carolina, but not such a good time for Emily Grimm. Sure she was going to spend the rest of her summer vacation in North Carolina with her crazy grandmother, but she wanted to go on the four week cruise with her family.

"Emily, I know that you don't want to be here, but it might be funnier than a cruise,"Her Dad said.

"Ya right!,"Emily muttered.

The car pulled up to a brick house. The driveway was neat, but there were no cars. Along the driveway there were irises and roses that were in different colors....

Recently, I held a countdown on the Best Disney Princess Soundtrack to see what Fanpop thought, and the results were king of suprising, and kind of not at the same time. A lot of people had different opinions, and it was fun to read what people wrote about why they like or dislike a soundtrack, and now the results are complete

10. The Princess and the Frog
This round was very close between this, Tangled, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. One minute, Snow White had the most votes, the next Tangled had the most votes, and the next Princess and the Frog had the most votes, and it went like this...

There are 10 Disney Princes so far, and they are a unique group. Some barely have a personality, others are really full of themselves, insecure, and some are really cool. This is my list of my favorite Disney Prince

10. Ferdinand
Snow White's prince is in last place because despite him being the first hero and prince, he's practically only a plot device. His only purpose in the movie is for Snow White to fall in love with him, so he can break the curse. He is in maximum 5 minutes of an hour and twenty minute movie (I've counted), so we do not get to see his character, and he appears the least...

Second of all, let me just say that I think Ariel has a TON of haters. She's like Justin Beiber in the Disney World, (except she's a more decent thing to argue over) but when really...the ones who disagree AND the fans are making a big deal. And the big question is always "Is Ariel the most irresponsible princess...

Let's get started!

10. Pocahontas

I really don't think she's pretty. Her hair looks so thin and strange. Her hair is the thing most people love about her appearance, but I really don't like it. You know how Jasmine's hair looks so thick and soft, like you run your fingers through it and play with it forever? Yeah. Poca's looks like black paper. No volume! Also her lips, they look like she got botox or something. The only thing I like is her skin color, very pretty.

9. Mulan

Mulan is very ethnic looking. I'm just not a fan of Chinese...

10. Jasmine
Now, there is no denying Jasmine is awesome. She is tired of her pampered life, where every decision is made for her and she has no freedom, and so she takes charge of her own life and dresses up as a peasant in order to live a life of freedom where she makes her own choices. She makes her way through the...

Now first of all, why don't we all give applause to Cinderella and Walt Disney (hey there my idol, and my man!) for creating the best childhood we've all ever had!!! (applause)

Now, let's document on "The Damsels In Distress" thing, first off- if you REALLY think she's a damsel in distress, then your a disgrace to the the Disney Princesses. Why? Cinderella believed in herself...
BUT SHE DID IT SO- STOP SPREADING HOGWASH!!! SNOW WHITE, is the damsel in distress people!!! Aurora never intended to go to her prince, and Cinderella WENT TO THE BALL, KISSED THE PRINCE, BUT SHE WAS SCARED OF HER USELESS...

“According to director Frank Nissen, Drizella was going to be the stepsister to reform in Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, but the filmmakers decided to make it Anastasia as she already began the process of reformation in Cinderella II: Dreams Come True.”

This web site is practically a petition site for Disney to make a Cinderella IV in order to change Drizella’s fate. Drizella is my favorite character from all three movies; however, I think that she needs to become good as Anastasia did. Drizella may be very selfish and spoiled but I don’t think that she will be as evil...

Is it weird I think some of them look really good as villains?
Okay, so I'm bored and hopped up on five mochas. I'm going to be up for awhile, so it hit me: Why not write another article? I've been meaning to write another one for awhile, but never really got a solid idea. Then it finally came to me: I like villains, why not write about the villains? So here it is, my Disney Princess villain line-up.

10. The Evil Queen
For some reason, this villain always fell flat to me. She just never seemed.. Something enough. Other villains have comedy or drama or just memorable character design. The Evil Queen, she just never hit it with me. I never thought she...
