Since I've been a fan of this club, I never had been keen on Ariel even though she has a magical movie and she's the only mermaid in the lore. However, The live version of the cartoon that came out in September, 2023 changed everything. But also, keep in mind that I changed and my opinions also have. I have to make up a new list of my fav princesses because god- ITS ALL MIXED UP AGAIN! Also, I remember arguing about Ariel's appearance with wavesurf in this club and I told him/her that she was pretty ugly, while my opinions are switched. I love her huge eyes and bright red hair more than ever...

PrincessAyeka12 gave me the fabulous idea of coming up with what books and authors each princess would like to read. We already know that Belle's a bookworm, but what would the other princesses spend hours flipping through, totally lost to the outside world? I had a lot of fun with this article, since I love reading. I've read at least one book from most of these authors, although not all of them. All credit for this idea goes to PrincessAyeka12! The countdown is over and the results are in! DP club fans have voted for their favorite landscapes in DP movies. Surprisingly fans were more divided for choosing the lower ranks and had almost a united say about the top ones. Here are the results. Hope you'll enjoy.

11. Princess and The Frog
I was a little surprised to see it leave first. I know its not much liked around here but I thought having Cinderella and Snow White and Seven Dwarfs around, this might just skip being eliminated first. Well, I was wrong. Fans didn't really find the bayou magical and swamps looked garish and dull to them....

Ah, feminism and Disney Princess. Such a complicated relationship. Now I'm not an expert, especially being a guy but the topic of feminism in relation to the DPs has always intrigued me. I'm gonna try my hand at ranking the princesses in terms of agency, independence, heroism and other aspects to figure out which one of them is the most feminist. I'm trying to expand my writing skills so this is gonna be split into three parts, starting with the bottom four.

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs - Someday My Prince Will Come

This is my favorite DP Song, it's such a beautiful song despite it's short length, many of the lyrics are lovely and Snow White's voice is so beautiful. This song always makes me emotional everytime I listen...

So a few months ago, I decided to write a short article on who my favorite princesses were. Well, that wasn't a complete list and my explanations weren't very clear so here we go again :)

10. Pocahontas
ok, so I don't really love her as much as I love the other princesses but I still like her. She's so brave and I admire her strength and courage. I loved her at the beginning of the movie. Before she met John Smith and became really boring...She was such a free spirit, running through the woods and paddling down that river and waterfall without a care in the world. She seemed like such a fun person!...

15. Peter Pan- I find him to be more cute than hot. He reminds me of a little boy and I find that so cute. When I was younger I wanted him to be my boyfriend though. I guess since I'm older I'm into the more manlier men in Disney.

14. Hercules- I don't know what it is.. but I just don't find him all that hot. Sure, he's manly and strong but when he was skinny and weak I prefer him. They made him too strong and his body was weird to me.

13. Flynn- Blame it on the animation that he's so low on the list.. If he was animated like the rest of the Disney guys I would definitely put him higher. He's...

Frozen is a Disney animated film that I kind of like. When I say kind of, what I actually mean is that I love it! It's a film that I've seen more times than anybody probably should. I used to watch this film more than once a week. It's a film that quickly grew quite the fanbase. I was certainly one of those fans that quickly got attached to the film.

Frozen centers around the bond between two princess sisters, who are named Anna and Elsa, that go on quite a unique adventure. Elsa was born with ice powers, but she's been ordered to keep that a secret. However, when Anna attempts to marry a prince...

I'm not strictly doing these in chronological order, it's just a coincidence that I chose Ariel next. You might think Ariel isn't a Mary Sue because of her obvious flaws that a lot people hate her for, but I think she still could be. Mary Sues can have flaws (hence why that trait doesn't just say "No flaws" and nothing else). So let's see.


Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- Sort of. Red hair is common enough, but her shade of red definitely isn't. .5
An odd name- Sort of. 'Ariel' is common enough by mermaid standards, but she's the only one of her siblings with a name not ending...

Hello everyone! I'm Veronica (a.k.a. ApplesauceDoctr :D), and hey, it's been a little while since I've written an article. It feels good to get back into the spirit of writing. :D
So, what have I today? As you can see, I'll be analyzing the song "Reflection" from Disney's Mulan. I made a lyric video for it about a week ago and realized just how deep the song is! However, in this analysis, I'll also be taking a look at the extended version of the song. It shows a different side of Mulan that...well, you'll see soon enough.

Some people debate over this but here's my opinion. By the way I think all the princesses are feminine, if they weren't they wouldn't be added to the lineup.

1.Tomboy/10.Girly Girl-Pocahontas
In my opinion, she's the most tomboyish. She's the only princess I'd describe as masculine. She climbs trees, she jumps off cliffs and she's very athletic. Pocahontas' playful and mischievious in a boyish way. She prefers to go off playing in the woods rather doing her people's equivalent of housework. The thing is, when Pocahontas does these tomboyish things, she's doing them by choice. All the rough stuff...

I don't know if it has anything to do with the 3D animation but I just don't find Rapunzel hot. She looks an 11 year old and she's supposed to be 18. And her face isn't all that great either, her eyes are too freaking large.

I guess we're not to supposed to find Snow White hot. She is only 14 but she looks a little older than that. Probably because she looks so tall compared to the dwarves. She's too cute and baby like to be hot. I like her...
