For such a successful and expensive film, Frozen's complete lack of diversity (particularly ethnic diversity) really vexed me. Frozen has four main human characters and out of the four:
- Four are white
- Four are all apparently straight
- Three are blonde
Looking at this, you can tell there is very little variation in Frozen's main cast. In ethnic terms, there really is no excuse of this. Frozen needed more POC.

I have heard one main argument (read: excuse) why Frozen didn't have any racially diverse characters (and no: I am not counting black background characters). Some say that Frozen was set in a medieval Scandinavian country, so obviously, everybody there could only have been white, blond-haired and blue-eyed.

This is complete nonsense because firstly - not everybody there looked the same and (believe it or not) other hair colours and races DID exist in Europe. Also, along with other POC who lived in Scandinavia, there were also Saami people and others like them who lived in Scandinavia for centuries. It is my personal view that Kristoff definitely should have been Saami as his role is similar to that of traditional Inuits in the film.

Secondly, Arendelle is only based on a medieval Scandinavia. In reality, it is a fictional. Elsa has a ice powers for god sake! How is THAT more plausible than a POC being royalty or a main character in Frozen?

I hope you can see that Disney really has no excuse for the lack of POC among it's main cast. In the future, hopefully we will have more racially diverse characters that are in the future in EVERY FILM (not just something like Moana).

Thanks for reading.

We don't need no men!
We don't need no men!
I'm just going to apologize for my terrible humor ahead of time. I wrote this sooo late ahaha. Ahh November. The Season of Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the time of the turkeys. Turkeys are a very important animal in history. They are the animal of love. Don't believe me? Look at all the coincidences; turkeys make love with each other (bow chicka wow wow), they bring love to the obese, and best of all they are shaped like hearts...well close enough. With all these coincidences, it would be a crime to not write about my favorite couples in this joyous time of turkeys and making love. Oh, and...

So, I finally decided to write down an article about my prettiest princesses list. Before continuing with the list, I 'd like to inform you about something. I 've added two characters who are not official princesses. The reason why I did this is that I've not watched many non-princess Disney movies with beautiful females. Had I watched more movies, I 'd propably make a full Disney Female list including Alice, Giselle, the Blue Fairy, Wendy e.t.c. But currently, I love only two, so I thought I shouldn't leave them behind! Now, let's go on with the list.

13. Mulan
I really don't think there is...

I love them <3
I love them <3
I saw KataraLover and sweetie-94 doing these kinds of articles so I decided to do this too but with Mulan and Pocahontas.

Similarities:
They are both confused and search for spiritual guidance. Neither are very... optimistic. They have more in common than that but I will explain it all reviewing the aspects.

Differences:
Since Pocahontas follows her intuition and wanted to choose her own path, Mulan is much more obedient than Pocahontas. Pocahontas isn't into serious guys and Mulan, well... just look at Shang. Mulan is literally a fighter and Pocahontas is against. Mulan moped around a lot in the...

Most of you who have just read the title of this article are probably thinking in your heads, "Yes," or "oh hell yeah!" or something like that. Well before you jump to that answer, hear me out. Last night, I had a dream that was related to the scene in Tangled where Rapunzel confronts Gothel and while I was sleeping in, it got me thinking. Yes, what Gothel did to Rapunzel was wrong, but I'm not sure if she completely qualifies as a villain.....per say. Let me explain.
First of all, unlike the other Disney Villains (with the exception of Frollo) Gothel isn't really interested in world domination...
