I was looking through my articles and realised I didn't have an article in which I examined Ariel in depth. I decided to amend that by writing about a subject it's fun to think about - Ariel's pink dress.

Most fans can agree (I think) that the dress looks quite bad on Ariel. There are several reasons for this: the sleeves are ridiculously puffy and makes her arms look misshapen and the shaping of the skirt looks... Odd. I just think it's too puffy and big in general.

Another popular reason for the dress looking odd is that a red hair/pink dress combo doesn't work:

However, I personally don't feel this is the case. Disney has proven that it is perfectly capable of making a pink dress look super pretty on a red head (a.k.a. Giselle from Enchanted). Look how cute she looks here!

Some of you may now say that the outfit only works because her hair is MUCH lighter than Ariel's, but I disagree. Look what happens when we put Ariel in almost exactly the same dress:

I don't know about you, but I think she looks stunning! Why couldn't Disney put her in a dress more like this? A different shade of pink and different sleeves and Ariel's pink dress could have been BEAUTIFUL.
Would something like this be TOO much to ask?
Would something like this be TOO much to ask?

I guess it could be argued that Disney HAD to make the dress shaped like that with odd sleeves to make it look like a ball gown, but if they had to give her a light pink and puffy dress, couldn't they have given something a lot more like Lottie's from TPATF? Her dress is over dramatic, but still prettier than Ariel's.

Overall, I feel that Disney could have made Ariel's ball gown look amazing if they had put a little more time and thought into it. They just had to change the shade and the shape and I would have adored it. I am really glad that they have decided to scrap the dress almost altogether now in merchandising, because it makes me a little sad to think how breath-taking Ariel could have looked.

Everybody knows that Ariel and Jasmine are probably the most similar pair out of the princesses. They both stand up against their fathers, both are outspoken a bit rebellious, and attractive teenagers , not adults. These two are the few teenage princesses, so their behaviours are more emotionally based than the others. Let's look at their situations

Ariel
Ariel has a slim, kind of curvy figure with long, thick red hair hat falls down to her waist. She is also a bit short, and has big blue eyes. In th beginning of her film, she goes above the sea to collect more human artifacts, unknowingly...

1. Belle
Belle has a really good relationship with her father. They are never shown fighting or arguing. Although the villagers think both are odd, Belle and Maurice are satisfied to have each other.

When Belle sees Philippe coming home without her father, she is worried and boldly goes to the dark forest searching her father.

Entering a scary castle, Belle finds her father imprisoned in a cold jail. Then, she declares to take Maurice's place as the prisoner although she will spend her entire life in the gloomy castle with a horrible, monstrous Beast.

Many days pass. Belle and the Beast...

Well, what were our brave heroines and heroes without their friends? They would be forced to provide the comic relief themselves. Not that some of them wouldn’t be able to step up to the challenge (*cough* Flynn* cough*), but as a general rule, it’s the sidekicks who provide the laughter.
Pocahontas is not listed in this category. I considered adding “Percy’s bath”, but since the score is very short, it wouldn’t have been fair.

9. Princess and the Frog: I have my problems with most of the songs of this movie, but “Gonna take you there” might be the worst of all of them....

Don't they look so pretty together? Only one shines out from the rest, however.

My lineups are getting very good responses. Something that, in all honesty, I didn't expect. Since when have I been funny? I usually get a one-liner in there a few times a year, let alone a few times a paragraph.
Yes, I'm biased. Yes, I swear. Yes, I like a joke. They're usually unfunny and stupid, but they're jokes nonetheless so treat them as such.
What's that? I should shut up and start the countdown? Whatever, let's go for it. I have nothing to better to do except wait for a YouTube video to upload anyway.

I think I have rarely seen a movie as overrated as “Brave”. Hell, the thing got a freaking Oscar, and while I know which kind of politics were in play for that atrocity, it is frustrating to see this movie getting the critical acclaim over something as creative as “Wreck it Ralph”. They can talk about Merida’s hair as much as they want, the movie who should have gotten the awards for this one was “Tangled”, because that was the movie for which the software which was developed further in “Brave” was invented.

I disliked the idea of Merida in the Line-Up from the get-go, too....
