Okay, so here are the actresses for Belle, it was pretty easy. Let's get started. This is the first list that doesn't have any "Teen Stars".

5.Leighton Meester
She probably looks the most like Belle out of all the actresses. The facial structure, the hair, everything is exact. So why is Leighton only #5? Well the next 4 actresses have to proven to be much more talented and can do twice as good of a job.

4.Christy Carlson Romano
Some of you may not know her or just don't remember her. She played Ren on Even Stevens, voiced Kim on Kim Possible. And she actually played Belle on broadway, of course she has to be on the list.

3.Anne Hathaway
It's not like she isn't used to playing a princess. Anne has the talent and personality to bring life to the booksmart princess. Though she steers away from roles like this, so I doubt she would be willing to do it. She's afraid of being typcast as the princess actress.

2.Emmy Rossum
The only good thing about that terrible Dragon Ball movie, Emmy Rossum is a beautiful vision. She has this classy demure but also a sex appeal about her. So I think she's almsot perfect to play Belle but one woman is better.

1.Natalie Portman
She's basically the princess of film so of course she's #1. She's gorgeous, she's wise beyond years and she has an Oscar. One of the best actresses of our generation, Natalie is the perfect candidate to bring Belle to the big screen.

PrincessAyeka12 I never thought of Natalie Portman! I always only thought of Anne Hathaway. However looks-wise it's always Anne as Belle, for me. But I vote Natalie for the personality role. Especially if she brought a little bit of Ann Boleyn and Amidala into the role to give it some spark..

hatelarxene Emmy Rossum? Really? Rossum can do a lot of things. She can run her mouth. She can talk with that annoyingly irritating speaking voice of hers. She can be absolutely and idiotically stupid. She can be a complete bitch who goes around being pretentious and self-important (seriously, this woman is so far up her own ass it's mind-boggling). I don't know why people wanted her as Belle. Emmy Rossum is a talentless slag with no beauty whatsoever. "Well the next 4 actresses have to proven to be much more talented and can do twice as good of a job." Lol, no way is Rossum more talented than the amazing Leighton Meester. No fucking way. Emma Watson was the perfect choice for Belle, and no one can tell me otherwise.

So, I watched the movie, and my overall opinion is that it is good........not great. I say this because while the characters are nice, and the songs, the story needs some work. There are some plotholes that are jarring, and the fact that most of this takes place in 24 hours is a bit problematic for me. Even the character development and the relationship building could have been better.

Have you ever felt that you were watching yourself up on screen when you watch a Disney Princess movie? I read this book called Disney Girls It is about a group of friends who recognize themselves as special people that are like Disney Princesses (they are one and the same). The Disney Princesses here are Paula (Pocahontas), Yukiko (Snow White), Ella (Cinderella), Isabelle (Belle), Jasmine (Jasmine), and Ariel (Ariel).

First of all, I don't own the book series. It was written by Gabrielle Charbonnet.

In the Disney Franchise, Cinderella's ballgown is blue, but that was not always true (hey that rhymes).
In the 1950 film, when Cinderella got transformed into her gown, it was white. When she looked at her reflection in the fountain, it was blue. When they needed products for this movie, some people thought the white gown looked too much like a wedding dress, so they watched the whole movie over and over again until they came up with something. They saw Cindy's reflection in the fountain, and thought that was a good color, thus, Cinderella's dress is now considered blue.

First of all, I think all the princesses are amazing singers. I love and respect all the voice actresses and I'm truly grateful for all they've done for Disney.

I know you're not surprised. I love her voice, I think it's very unique. But at the same time it can be extremely annoying. Have you seen the official Disney Princess website? Snow White's voice is ten times more annoying than it was in the movie. I like her voice but It's something I have to be in the mood for. Her best song is a Smile and a Song, I just love it.
