Since Mulan is princess of the month, here some thoughts about which flower fits her the best. The movie, after all, offers some choices. The most obvious one is the magnolia, since that’s the translation of the name Mulan.

Then there is the white flower Mulan wears in her hair when she meets the matchmaker – the same flower she leaves behind when she goes to war. I’m not sure what kind of flower that’s suppose to be. I first considered lotus (since the lotus is such a reveled flower in Asia and gets often connected to the gods), but a lotus has more petals. A white cherry blossom would have exactly five petals, but they would be more round. There are some similarities with a white magnolia flower or a lily, but again, both have more petals. My best guess is the azalea - a white azalea has five petals, looks very similiar, but even more important, in China they are a symbol for womanhood (they also symbolize taking care, temperance and fragility, more or less everything Mulan is expected to be).

And finally, the most important of all, the flower her father points out to her. I originally assumed that they are sitting under a cherry tree – I think mostly because the cherry blossom is such a big deal in Japan and there are festivals surrounding it in China, too. But the “Hanami” in Japan is the one with the long tradition, while China just was inspired by it. Plus, the longer I look at it, the more I get the impression that those blossoms are supposed to be magnolias.
You can compare it yourself to the picture of some magnolias at the right, the similiarity is undeniable. Also it would make the whole scene so much more meaningful, if her father points out a late blooming "Mulan" instead of a random flower. But the scripts of "Mulan" I have found so far don't specify, there is only "blossoms" written, so unless the animators give an answer, we'll never know for sure.

But I admit I like cherry blossoms better for Mulan, since magnolias are fairly sensitive flowers, and Mulan is everything but sensitive. Cherry blossoms have three different meaning in the language of flowers: They stand for a good education, transience of life (Japan) and feminine beauty (China). All those meanings fit Mulan and her story nearly perfectly, although the meaning of magnolias (love of nature) works too.
In the end, I couldn’t really decide - So I made two wallpapers, one with cherry blossoms and one with magnolias, to honor the beauty of a late blooming flower.

I have seen a few Disney Princess Threads talking about the heights of the Disney princesses. I am going to give my opinion based on myself and facts.

Tall;
Esmeralda: She's not an official princess, but yes, she is the tallest. It has been confirmed.
Pocahontas; She's almost the height as John Smith, who was a tall man. She was always drawn with really long legs.
Elsa: She is Norwegian, the oldest, and has always just seem tall to me, even when she was younger.
Megara; Meg has the second tallest boyfriend, and is around his neck. I'm going to count it.

Medium;

Aurora; Though they say she is the...

Flynn "theyjustcan'tgetmynoseright" Rider.
There are a lot of Aladdin and Price Eric fans out there – and while I’ll admit I’m a fan of both – neither come close to the swashbuckling (and smouldering) perfection that is Flynn Rider. He’s heroic, hilarious and has more than enough personality to share with the pre-1989 Prince’s. He is, by far, my favourite Disney prince – and for the life of me, I can’t understand how people so easily overlook him. And that is exactly why I’m writing this article – to give credit where credit is due.

I’ve divided this article up into 4 parts – Heroicness, Humor, Personality &...

10. Mulan
Mulan is pretty, but not stunning. I find her to be a little plain. I am not saying that she's ugly at all, I just think the other princesses have prettier eyes.

9. Snow White
Despite what everyone says about Snow White being ugly, she actually has very beautiful eyes. They're almost perfectly round and are a very nice shade of brown. In addition her eyelashes are ridiculously long.

8. Tiana
Tiana has big beautiful brown eyes. They compliment her skin tone so well. Her eyes are very magnetic, but there are still prettier...

7. Ariel
I know I know how is Ariel so low? Don't...

I figured since Merida is now in the line-up I should remake my prettiest Disney Princess list. I wanna make it clear that I think all of them are beautiful, just in different ways. Please comment telling me what you think.

11.Cinderella
Classically beautiful but plain with a poorly drawn nose, quite common, and looks MUCH prettier in the third movie
Classically beautiful but plain with a poorly drawn nose, quite common, and looks MUCH prettier in the third movie

I know I'm going to get attacked by several people but I actually don't think she's all that special. First of all the animation is too old fashioned and her design is too simply so those are two things that work against each other. However...

Elsa as a kid, before she had to hide her powers
Elsa as a kid, before she had to hide her powers
There are going to be spoilers, of course, so I wouldn't read this if you haven't watched the movie yet! Anyway, I've written an article like this for Aurora, Snow, and Tiana, and thought it was only right to write one for my new second favorite princess, Elsa. I plan on making these for all of the princesses at some point, since I do love them all, but I was just really excited to write about Elsa ASAP. So without further ado, let's get started!

Going into Frozen, I had a feeling I was going to love Elsa. She's different from anything we've ever gotten before, and gives us a fresh point of...

As my last countdown was boring, senseless and weird, I decided to go with a much more simpler and faster countdown topic this time. Since my last countdown was not elimination by votes, I decided to try out the elimination by comments this time. So, here are the results!

#11: Pocahontas
Many think of Poca's smile as forced and unemotional, and I guess that is true. She hardly smiles in her film, and basically all her pretty moments are non-smile ones. So no surprise she ended up last.

Comments:

"Pocahontas, looks really forced and unnatural. Maybe it is because of her animation style and the...

Welcome to my second Mary Sue Test! This is for Anna. I'll be doing one for Elsa next.

Unique traits without contacts or hair dye- No, Anna's hair and eye color are pretty realistic.
An odd name- No. 'Anna' is a common name, if her pronunciation isn't.
Looks constantly commented on- No. I can't remember Anna's looks being commented on much.
Always the hero- Sort of. She saved Kristoff from the wolves, falling off the mountain, saved them from Marshmallow, and saved Elsa from being executed. 1.
Multiple characters falling for her- No. Hans only pretended to, and Kristoff didn't until the end....

Dungeons & Dragons (or D&D for short) is a super fun tabletop roleplaying game that's been around since the 1970s but has recently gained a fair bit of popularity. I've been playing the game for around eight years at time of writing, and I strongly recommend you give it a try if you ever get the chance. It's really an absolute blast! D&D has always been one of my favorite hobbies, but within the last two years it's become an even bigger part of my life. Since I've been having so much fun with it recently, I decided it was finally time to try something I'd always wanted to do: turning...

Hello to everyone! It's me, Elsafan1010. Actually, I should have written this article a day ago, but I changed it a bit. This article was going to be about all of Elsa's dresses, I was even writing about what she wore when she was little. But then I realized that her childhood clothes were boring. Most were dark blue dresses with black embroidered edges. Of course, beautiful dresses (everything Elsa is perfect) but boring subjects for an article. That's why I'm going to write down the clothes of when she was a young girl (queen) in detail and indicate the hairstyles or the accessory she used...

We all adore Rapunzel because she is fun, resourceful and talented, plus cute. Today I am sharing some fun facts about her Rapunzel and her movie, " Tangled".

FACTS
1- The movie "Tangled" was Disney's 50'th animated feature film. Rapunzel is also the first digital animated feature princess.

2- The idea to create Rapunzel starting the late 1930s Rapunzel was originally one of the stories to be considered after the release of Snow White.

" I am the prettiest!" LOL
" I am the prettiest!" LOL
I was thinking about this a long time ago. The beauty of a princess varies for everyone, but in their own movies, princesses are described as "the most beautiful". There is no beauty problem in every princess, especially those who have love at first sight, and they live a comfortable love life thanks to this beauty. Outward appearances play a big part in the princesses' happy ending. But what if they weren't pretty? How would their lives change? Now we're going to look at that.

Cinderella
Cinderella would never have had a happy ending without her beauty. Because the prince at the ball saw her...

This time my article will be about the pets of Disney princesses. I find them all sweet. Do not forget to mention your favorite pet in the comments.

1- Elsa (Bruni)
Elsa had become good friends with Bruni, the fire spirit. Bruni is a lizard, so he's considered a pet.

2- Rapunzel (Pascal and Maximus)
Rapunzel's best friend and pet is the sweet Pascal, whose chameleon. Pascal is really smart. Pascal is my favorite pet. Maximus isn't really Rapunzel's horse, but he's with her throughout the adventure, so it's sort of like a pet.

3- Jasmine (Rajah)
Jasmine's pet was Rajah, a huge tiger. She was very good friends with him.

4- Merida (Angus)
Merida had a loyal and furry horse named Angus. Angus was completely black, with only a few whites on his nose.

5- Cinderella( mice)
Cinderella got along with mice and could talk to them. She even sewed clothes for mice.

6- Pocahontas( Meeko and Flit)

That bird and the fluffy friend were her friends
This is the Disney Princesses food guide. Do not forget to enjoy while reading and specify the most delicious dish in the comments. There are pictures of the food they ate at the end of the article.

1- Mulan (Rice and porridge)
At the beginning of the movie, she was slowly eating a bowl of rice with china chopsticks as a delicate and beautiful girl. Later, when Mulan disguised as a man and woke up in the war tent, Mushu fed her a delicious porridge with her eyes omelette for breakfast.

2- Merida (Apple)
Merida was eating an apple when lords from different countries gathered in the courtyard to...
