Disney Princess Question

Fanpop's Favourite Princess August 2013: Who is your least-favourite Princess? Write your reasonings as well. It is open for a Week exactly.

*
1. Mulan: I like how atypical she is from the traditional Disney Princess. She does not know what exactly she wants and is a big family person. She is also not all days in sunshine. She is active, respectful, and a bit lazy like myself. She is a cool person

Merida: She doesn't seem like much of a Disney princess to be added to the line up. Although i do like how Merida wants her freedom and independence... I think that she is bratty and selfish and i don't like how she acts. She isn't very traditional compared to the other princess. Also i don't like how she doesn't have her own prince... All the other Disney princess do...

This is not a steady list.

11. Tiana: I like Tiana. I really do. But I can't connect with her. She's so hard-working and responsible. Not me.
10. Snow White: I also like Snow, but as I said before I really can't connect with her.
09. Mulan: Mulan is great. She went to war to protect her family. She's heroic and brave. I'll always admire that about her. But, I've realized that after that I really can't connect with her at all. I really only like her for the things she did, not for who she is.
08. Cinderella: I love Cinderella and I wish I could put her lower on this list. I love her optimism. She tells herself things will get better and her dreams will come true, even when times are tough. I try to be more like her everyday.
07. Pocahontas: I adore Pocahontas. She's brave, adventurous, heroic, wise, and daring. Everything I love in a princess. I can relate to her in a lot of ways and I would put her lower, but she can't compare to my top 6.
06. Jasmine: Jasmine is brilliant. She wants to be free to make her own choices, and I definitely know how that feels. A lot of us do. She's courageous, adventurous, and she stands up for herself.
05. Aurora: Aurora has a very special place in my heart. Ever since I was little I've loved her. To me there was always something so mysterious about her, and I loved it. And there is so much more to Aurora then people think. She's romantic, playful, kind, and dreamy. I'll always love her.
04. Rapunzel: I love Rapunzel because we are similar in a lot of ways. We're both very childish, adventurous, brave, and artistic. We're also in very similar situations and have similar dreams. But the thing I love most about her is her childishness. Some find it annoying, I find it cute and quirky.
My top 3 is really a tie.
3. Belle: Belle has come a long way for me.. I went from loving her, to not liking her, to loving her all over again. "I want adventure in the great wide somewhere". Story of my life. She's intelligent and outspoken. She's selfless. She gave up her happiness and dreams of adventure to save her Father. She fell in love with the Beast and was able to see past his appearance and saw who he was on the inside. To me, she is in no way an uptight snob. I've always seen her as a courageous, free-spirit.
2. Merida: It was love at first sight with Merida. She stands up for what she believes in, she wants her freedom, she's brave. She's adventurous. I could go on forever about how much I love her. We have very similar personalities and mannerisms. And I really love that she doesn't have a love interest. For me, a tomboyish girl who has never had much interest in romance or relationships, it was a breath of fresh air.
1. Ariel: Ariel inspires me everyday. I don't give a damn what anyone says about her, she will always be a role-model to me. She had an impossible dream, and she made it happen. She's got this awesome adventurous spirit. I'll never stop loving her.

11. Cinderella: I like how hopeful and strong she is, but I can't connect to her. I don't really like how she is kinda bitter, even if it adds to her personality.
10. Ariel: I really like Ariel! She's dreamy, passionate, and works hard, but she can be a little thoughtless at times.
9. Belle: I've come to realize there isn't much to Belle. She's just kinda blah.
8. Jasmine: I really like how Jasmine isn't scared to stand up for herself. She is determined and goes against the grain of her society.
7. Snow White: Snow White is very sweet and caring. She always puts a smile on my face.
6. Merida: I love Merida's character transformation. I love how she finally admits that she was wrong. I also like how she's spunky and like Jasmine goes against the norms of society.
5. Pocahontas: Pocahontas is very wise and I love how spiritual she is. She's also very fun, and I can tell she'd be a good person to hang out with. She's also indecisive, like me.
4. Mulan: I love how Mulan is just an awkward, normal girl trying to fit in, not some princess that's worrying about loosing a nail. She has a lot of backbone and I love her relationship with her dad.
3. Tiana: My top 3 are basically a tie, but I suppose I'll put Tiana in third. I love her spunk, determination, and her entire attitude. I love that she can have fun, and be serious, and how she's very relateable. I love how she never gives up on her dream.
2. Aurora: I loveee Aurora! She's so misunderstood. She's very dreamy, and a bit manipulative. Also, she's very imaginative, and responsible. She just has an aura about her that I can't quite put into words.
1. Rapunzel: Rapunzel's character transformation is amazing. By the end of the film she's a strong, confidant woman. I love how she makes the decision in the relationship with Flynn, and how she saves his butt. She's very dreamy, artistic, funny, and just seems like an all around awesome person.

1. Snow white- she is EVERYTHING i want to be but also i stronly relate to her! like me she is sassy, girly, confident, bossy, generous, stubborn but she is a better role model then me in the sense that she is very humble, independent and patient.
2. Ariel- she is selfish sure but thats her flaw. most of us are selfish! she is also fun, resouceful, romantic, sill, childish and the bravest princess imo.
3. Aurora- she is so classy and adorable! i wanted to be her when I was little. her obedience is a GOOD thing, what is so offensive about doing whats right instead of what you want? i do that all the time and it gives me trouble half the time. she is unselfish but shy and insecure and I looove her romanticness.
4 Rapunzel- soooo cute and hilarious!!! she's a big determined dork like me, haha. she is afraid of the world but is brave enough to explore it and face her fears anyway. she is creative, daring, silly, naive and payssionate.
5. Cinderella- she is one of the very best role models and imo the smartest princess. she is smart enough to choose her battles and knows running away would be stupid. she doesnt stoop to her mean family's level but dreams in dignity!
6. Pocahantas- she is very selfless and brave but indecisive and i admire her because while she is serious and wants to be mature she is also childish and knows how to have fun!
7. Tiana- she loves to cook and is sassy but a loyal, patient friend. she is a daddy's girl like me and is a harder worker then anyone. she is kinda underdeveloped sure but is a great dp.
8. Jasmine- imo she is bratty but i like how she never lets anyone walk over her, looks past appearances and is feminine too.
9. Belle- i admire her loyalty but i think she is the most boring dp and i cant stand snobs. i dont relate to her or admire alot about her but at least she enjoys books.
10. Mulan- i know she is brave and a great person but if she didnt save china i dont think she would have half as much fans. i dont relate to her in anyway but being a daddy girl. we're almost opposites. i prefer girlier, confident, romantic princesses.
11. Merida- never liked her. i know what agood thing she does! but she was still a big brat! i dont like masculine girl characters either.

I'm assuming day 7 is okay?
11. Merida- Mainly because I just hate the whole tough-girl-who-fights-and-uses-weapons-and-doesn't-take-any-crap-and-is-really-rude-and-has-a-huge-temper trope in general
10. Cinderella- Just kind of boring
9. Jasmine- She's a hypocrite, plain and simple
8. Rapunzel- Okay, now we get to the princesses that I really like, but a)she's so perfect and seems quite inorganic and b)she's unoriginal
7. Belle- I love her bravery and selflessness and I see a lot of myself in her, but she's not really very unique or interesting, and lacks flaws like Rapunzel
6. Snow White- Alright, the princesses I LOVE! I love how sweet and optimistic she is, but I also love how she has her hidden sassy and manipulative side! She's just so fun!
5. Ariel- I love how enthusiastic and full of life she is when she's on land. I definitely think I would (or at least might) do the same thing she did if I was given the chance, and I also think I'd go into it with the confidence she has that of course I could get it done. We're both Gryffindors, so I also see a lot of my traits- both positive and negative- in her.
4. Aurora- Aurora! How can you not just fall in love with her? I love her musings about the birds, I love how playful she is in the forest, and most of all, I love her selflessness. I love that she would be willing to give everything for those she serves- what more could you want in a ruler?
3. Tiana- I like that we have a more serious and hard-working princess! But that doesn't mean she's got no personality- she's SASSY!
2. Pocahontas- I like that she has so many contradictory traits, that she's mature and childish, wise and foolish, selfish and serving. I also really love having a princess with a strong spiritual side!
1. Mulan- What can I say about her that I haven't 50 times already? She's brave, selfless, going into a situation she thinks means certain death and that she can get nothing out of for the sole purpose of protecting her father. She is humble and respectful. She just feels like she doesn't fit in. I can really relate to that, and she's inspired me a lot to keep trying to be like her and that what I'm meant for is coming. She isn't a tomboy or a girly-girl, but simply herself and can't succeed when she tries to fit herself into a preconceived ideal. I love her so much and admire her more than any of the others.
