What Disney girl would you like to see be an ODP and why? (official disney princess)

I choose Esmeralda for a few reasons.

Firstly, her movie was a success (made a bit less than Pocahontas, more than Mulan and PatF, got better reviews than the former, and not much worse than the latters).

Secondly, she was a DP at one point

Thirdly, she is a positive role model. She is strong and passionate without being the typical rebellious girl (like her predecessors), and stands up for what is right. She has good manners to those who deserve it.

And lastly, she would fit in the most with the others compared to Megara, Kida, Jane and Elinwoy. She is like Pocahontas, Jasmine, and in some ways the other princesses.

And lastly, her role in her film is like Jasmine's, and it is a lot bigger than Megara's, Jane's, Elinwoy's, and Kida's (which all appear after the half hour mark, and maybe introduced midway through the film). The story would not work without her, just like Aladdin would not work without Jasmine (whether peopel would admit it or not)

Eilonwy because she IS a princess. Meg is a goddess kind of, like Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite, and a bunch of other people in the movie. Kida becomes a queen. Lilo and Esmeralda have no royal ties. Eilonwy actually is a princess.

I used to always get mad that Anastasia wan't one before i realised it wasn't a disney movie! ha But i think Lilo should be! One of my favourite disney movies :) Could you answer my question please? :)

Kida because she is a princess and her movie is a disney movie and I think she is super awesome and a great inspiration for young girls.

Definetely Esmeralda, despite having no royal ties she'd be a great addition to the lineup imo. She's kind-hearted, selfless and she cares for the people around her. The kind of qualities I see in a princess.

Eilonwy definitely. I can't see parents wanting to buy their little girls Kida and Esmeralda costumes, if you catch my drift. I don't think a positive role model should be one who dresses so immodestly (for one thing). People complain enough about how kids dress anyway. I think Esmeralda has her moments but I would honestly be appalled if Disney tried to tell me kids should see her as a role model when they made her as sexy as possible and a bit aggressive too. I think liking her is fine (to an extent) but she's more of a person grown women can relate to and understand than a child.

Kida is a little better for kids personality-wise but... yeah, the clothes thing. I don't think kids would like her much, though. They didn't before and that's the whole reason she isn't currently in the franchise.

Eilonwy IS a real princess and would bring a unique personality (feminine like the classic princesses, logical like Mulan and Tiana, and actually acts her age [12-14] like Snow White and Ariel) as well as being a good role model (Eilonwy does go off on Taran, but he was being pretty rude to her and she wasn't gonna stand for it. She's very optimistic, resourceful and composed).

Plus we'd have another blonde! =D

I think Meg is one of the worst role models kids should have (not hating on her, I'm just saying I don't think kids will understand her or her story- they will just see her being all seductive and bitter to Herc even when he's nice to her and think it's cool to be that way, same with Esmeralda) although I completely agree that technically, she SHOULD be a princess. Zeus is a king = Herc is a prince = Meg is a princess by marriage. Or I suppose she could have been a real one, or at least nobility, as I believe she was a princess in the myth.

I would love to see Meg from Hercules become a princess. You could argue she could become a princess by a ''heroic action" because she saved Hercules from having that column fall on him. Mulan became a princess by heroic action, so why couldn't Meg?
