Best: The animation, absolutely. It's the best in existence. The music also, of course, it's Tchaikovsky, and the songs are very nice. Also, the side characters. The fairies are really amazing and entertaining.
Worst: Not necessarily a flaw in the movie, but in the story- how did the fairies get along for that long without learning how to cook and sew?
What could have made it better: I don't really know, I'm pretty content with it as it is.

The only explanation I can think of is that the fairies might have just bought all of the stuff at a nearby market, maybe not the best explanation, but an explanation none the less

I think Merryweather did the cooking, she understands the cook book after all.

The animation is the biggest strong point of the film. It's just so beautiful and ahead of it's time (and ahead of our time). Also the score and soundtrack, while nontraditional, is very beautiful. Even though this movie gives me my favorite princess, fourth favorite prince, and second favorite villain, I wish there was more character development.

Best: Hands down the animation, it's outstanding. The movie will always be special because of it. Naturally the music, especially "Maleficent's evil spell" and "battle against the power of evil". And Maleficent is the prototype for all the Disney Villains which came after her. I love all the characters in the movie, though.

Worst: The dubbing...I ALWAYS watch the movie in German, because the dubbing is less "serious", especially the three fairies talk more like bickering old ladies. The language of the original is a little bit too "heavy" sometimes. And the pacing...some scenes are simply too long.

To make it better: I think the makers should have been more straightforward about making the fairies the protagonists of the movie. The skumps scenes should be waaaaaaay shorter, it's a very pointless comic relief scene in a movie which doesn't need it. Instead they should have added a scene in which the fairies talk to Aurora properly about her heritage, highlighting Aurora's feelings more.
