Disney Princess Could you write an explanation on the Best and Worst Aspects of Beauty and the Beast, and What Could Have Made it Better?

Best: The characters. The Beast was really good and interesting, and I love watching all the townspeople interact. Belle is a really relatable character and Maurice is very endearing.
Worst: The timeline issues. Belle and Beast are supposed to spend a long time together, but Maurice and LeFou couldn't have lasted that long. I'd say Something There covers two days due to her wearing two dresses in consecutive order. Also, animation issues.
What could have made the movie better: If they'd decided on a timeline

Best: The animation, especially the character designs and the huge step they did concerning camera angles thanks to the CAPS system. Also the parallelism with the Beast becoming more human and Gaston becoming more beastly works really best. The movie also has what might be Alan Menken's but for sure Ashman's best work and the Be our Guest scene is one of the best acid sequences Disney ever did.

Worst: Also the animation, often very rushed and full of snafu's. And the neverending timeline-problem.

To make it better they should have needed more time to iron out the animation. And they should have simply allowed Gaston to put Maurice into the asylum, so that all characters are safely tucked away until Belle returns at one point.
