Best: Characters and humor
Worst: Characters and humor- it either got too much in the end or just didn't realize its potential. Also animation. Also plot holes, there were a lot of obvious situations.
What could have made it better: Cut back on Genie A LOT and more consistent characterization

That's a hard one...because I really, really don't like the movie, but I understand why other people like it...I'll try...

Best: Well, the carpet ride scene, naturally, and the relationship between Aladdin and the Genie.

Worst: Too many plot holes, especially that everyone in this movie seems to be face-blind is a problem. That Jasmine isn't smarter about getting her freedom. That Aladdin the moment he becomes a prince totally forgets the "poor" people. The lack of female characters. The pop-culture references, which date the movie.

To make it better: Tone down the Genie a little bit, they should have stuck to the Disney movie related humour. Allowing the movie to take itself a little bit more serious. It would also be nice if Aladdin had at least tried to be a "better" prince and shown some concern for the people of Agrabah (I really have no idea why Jafar is so much worse as a ruler than the sultan, they seem to be both very disinterested in the concerns of their people).
I could say a less cartoony style, but in the end, it's cohesive and what the makers were going for, and I get why.
