Not good! More opposites. Tiana believes in hard work, and Ariel believes in doing your own way to get what you want. Tiana would almost rather die than fail to get her restaurant for her dad, as she's very loyal to him, and Ariel showed almost no loyalty to her's, as she cares more about seeing new things than appreciating what she has around her, because it didn't satisfy her curiosity. Tiana is so commonsensical and Ariel is a huge dreamer who uses no logic to solve problems like Tiana does. Tiana would seem painfully boring and uninteresting in every way to Ariel, though Ariel would admire her determination. Ariel would seem to Tia like a huge spoiled brat who only cares about herself and getting a guy. They would totally not understand each other and clash terribly. They have completely different values, ideas, and dreams.
and I'm not bashing Ariel. I'm trying to show how different she is to explain why they won't get along.
