As in, Cinderella never has adventures or acts out so Ariel finds her uninteresting, and Ariel does reckless things on impulse without thinking of who she might hurt. They're both dreamers but about different things. Cinderella has a bad life and simply wants a happier situation, and Ariel has a happy life but wants mooooorrre. Ariel might think Cinderella needs to stand up for herself more and not understand why she doesn't, and Cinderella would think Ariel is ungrateful for the loving family and good life she has, though she might like that Ariel loves Eric and goes after him, similar to how she went to the ball to get the prince. Also, Cinderella is very mature and cautious, while Ariel isn't, so I think their disagreements would mostly stem from this.
They're very different and wouldn't always get along. they don't have a lot in common, and their situations are about as opposite as it gets.
