Disney Princess Question

Does I bother you when people say ALL of the films before the Renaissance are crap?

I know not all people think that (thank The Lord) but I was on a site a few minutes ago about the Disney Eras, and the site said that ONLY The Renaissance films are good. I'm not taking anything away from the Renaissance films because they are masterpieces, and a handful of the best films have came from that, but give the movies before some credit. When I men people, I mean outside of Fanpop as well. I have heard of this over and over again over the years, and it really frustrates me. What do you think of the matter?

Yeah, and it does not help when the only promote and market the same movies in public media, Disneyland, Walt Disney World, etc. They have a lot of good films, not just the few you see everywhere.

In my perception the validity of the movie is not determined by the time periode of it's release. There are certain classic movies that will forever be among my all time and ultimate favourite pieces of art and animation (such as Cinderella), there are Renaissance movies that profoundly impacted my life shaping me into a person I am today and there are the new Disney movies that I owe my inspiration and ability to keep on going and trying to achieve my goals, which makes them equally remarkable for me.
