Disney Princess Question

Do you think a not-so attractive princess with an amazing personality would be as popular?

I always go for the beauty on the inside, you know? Disney's never gonna do this, but a not so beautiful princess movie would be pretty interesting to see, don't you think?

Unfortunetely, if she wasn't pretty she probably wouldn't be very popular, but on the other hand, Princess Fiona from Shrek is an Ogre, and she's pretty popular...who knows!

I guess that's a matter of opinion. I too don't really find Mulan attractive at all. But I guess other people found her beautiful. *shrugs*

I think it could work. As long as she's not MAJORLY ugly (or even Cinderella's stepsisters ugly), then there might be a glimmer of hope that people could see past her not-overly-attractiveness.

I wish Disney would do something like that, but it's probably "bad for marketing" or something, so they never will.

That reminds me of Quasimodo sort of. I mean he was the sweetest guy but too ugly for anyone to try to get to know him :/ He's not that popular, so I'm assuming she wouldn't be either. But who knows for sure. :P
