Disney Pixar Cars Question

What is the name of the Disney car whose number is 9?

Hi. I'm a new fan. I haven't actually seen the "Cars" movie yet as I haven't been to the movies since 2004 - the responsibilities of parenthood and earning a living mean that I get very little free time. Anyway, my four-year-old son is a huge fan - he's seen the DVD in Japanese. He also has a Disney Pixar book, which shows a picture of the cars in lap 208 of the first race, with the first ten cars listed by place (this is just before McQueen gets a flat tire). In 9th place, just before Nitroade (#28) and just after Sputter Stop (#92) is a car whose number is 9. My son has been asking me what its name is. Can anyone help?

Hi everyone. Thanks very much for your answers. I think my son's Disney book must have had a mistake in it. It had no pictures of car #9 - just a list of the top ten cars at the end of lap 208. Thank you all once again.

What is the color and description of car #9? I may be able to match it with another car in the encyclopedia.

Did you know they had a Dale Jr. reference in the movie? Car #8? I don't think you put it in there. Just saying.

Yes, I did know that. That list of cars is the list that Lightning races in the movie. Earnhardt's car was in the movie, but not participating in the actually race.
