Ariel couldn't believe it she was actually back she swam as fast as she could although it took longer than she thought swimming with legs was a lot harder than swimming with fins she became so tired that instead of being on the beach she ended up near the rocks but close by. She sat there for a few moments to catch her breathe then decided to try to stand but instantly fell back down because she was so clumsy then again walking wasn't as easy as she remembered nor were having legs either but she decided to try again it took a few tries she got the hang of it somewhat she was still wobbly and sway from side to side.
When she suddenly heard something coming in her direction she found the sail that Morgana said would be on shore and quickly wrapped it around her and tied it securely around her waist with a rope then quickly hid behind a rock.
"Oh John how could you have been so stupid to let her go like that yeah she supposedly lied to you but you realize that she really was scared to tell you I mean you saw her father he has a pure hatred for humans he called you a barbarian for heaven sake huah ah oh Ariel I'd give anything to have you back no one would ever take you away from me again where could you be." Ariel couldn't believe it John was here and was missing her oh she realized she had to make him see her but how the answer was right in front of her she felt so stupid for something so obvious she climbed on the rock he was getting closer there was no way he could miss her.
As he was walking closer John's eyes thought they were deceiving him the girl on top of that rock looked a lot like his beloved Ariel but that was impossible she was back in the ocean with her father there was no way that could be her but the only way to find out was if he kept walking.
As he kept on getting closer and closer both of their hearts skipped a beat Ariel was getting so nervous that she started playing with her hair thinking to herself "Oh my gosh its him oh I hope I look ok, what if this sail makes me look trashy, what if he thinks I look trashy in this thing!, my hair must be a complete mess, what if he really doesn't want to see me and was only just saying those things oh!" but John just stopped and stared he was in complete shock he could believe his own eyes it really was Ariel she really was here he was so excited that he ran the rest of the way shouting her name.
Ariel he placed his hand on her cheek "It's really you" she nodded happily "Tell me how did you get here? did you runaway from home?" she nodded again " Well all that matters again and I promise that nothing... WOOW ARIEL YOU HAVE BUT HOW DID YOU?" Ariel tried to explain when she remembered that she had given her voice to Morgana John noticed that she looked upset and sad "What is it? What's wrong?" she placed her hand on her throat "You can't speak" she moved her head from side to side telling him no "But how?" she tried to explain using a her hands but John couldn't understand as hard as he tried he felt sorry for her she must have done something terrible to be with him again deep down he realized that whether she had a voice or not he might possibly love her when he thought he never could again and right now she needed him.
"Ariel I don't know what's going on but I promise I won't let you ever lead my side again" he placed his hand on her cheek again she moved in toward it and placed her hand on top of his "Come here" he picked her up and just held her close to him for a moment kissing her forehead before he started heading back towards camp with Ariel secure in his arms "Let's get you back to my cabin don't worry I'll take care of you."
“Oh, God, my head!”

“You trust me not to bite you?”
“You’d have noticed if I’d fed on you, even if I’d hypnotised you. Trust me.”
“Do you have any idea how long I’ve wanted to do that?”
“What’s wrong?”
