Young Merida was happily giggling when King Fergus, her father, had given her her own bow and arrow. "Fergus, do you think that that is a bad idea?"Merida's mother asked. Queen Eleanor expected Merida to be a lady, and she was scared that Merida would be injured over this weapon. "Oh, Eleanor, she has been asking me for a bow n' arrow ever since she had her eyes set on mine." Fergus laughed. Queen Eleanor smiled a bit.
"Alright Lassie, you put it right here, that's my girl." Fergus instructed. The string of the bow was at Merida's cheek, and Eleanor was anxiety clutching the collar of her dress. "Now, let it go." Fergus said. Merida shot the arrow, but it went flying into the air. "I missed."Merida whispered with disappointment. "Why don't you go fetch it then. " Eleanor suggested with a sigh of relief.
Merida skipped into the forest, humming an old Scottish tune. She explored the trees and the land itself until she found the arrow in a tree. She laughed, and yanked it out of the tree. When she heard a voice,"Hi little one." Merida turned around to see a boy in a Shepard's coat with white hair. The atmosphere was now chilly and Merida located the myth. "Jack Frost!" she cried. "You.. you can see me?" Jack asked with surprise. Merida nodded, her eyes wide with wonder. "Well, I heard it was your birthday." Jack got out a locket,"It's for you!" "Thank you!" Merida gasped."Why don't you run along, I bit your parents are worried about you." Merida nodded, glad that she could see a fairytale.
"Mummy! Guess what Jack Frost gave me!" Merida took out the locket. It was dangling from Merida's hand. "Well Merida, maybe some legends are real." her mother smiled at her, and behind them was Jack, happy that He could finally be seen.
So, what do you think? Sorry if you haven't seen any photos. My computer is mad at me. What do you think? Should I continue?
