Ellie quickly runs to a place where no one can find her. An empty lot full of dust. It smells like very strong sulfur and she sighs of relief. With her hand on her neck while trying to catch her running breath, Ellie looks back behind her. No one in sight. Suddenly, she starts cackling and her eyes turn a bright, fiery yellow. Ellie's young, going into puberty body transforms into a snake-like figure and her beautiful dirty blond mane turns burnt black and flows by itself. With a long, purple dress on her, she stops laughing. Her dainty, little hands are no longer existing. Instead they are replaced by thin, bone skinned hands. Eris, the goddess of Chaos has come back to life. She stretches out her arms so her back can straighten. "Ah! Being in that brat's body has made me feel like I'm gaining weight." Eris looks at her waist, unamused. "Or is it just me? No. It's just me." She frowns. Eris lets out a piercing scream. "How dare that puny human, James, let ME fail! I just hate his parents. Which is why I WILL get my revenge." She bursts out to an evil laughing fit as she turns back to her regular self as Ellie.
Ellie enters the royal family's palace without permission and sees that James has a backpack on his back and is not dressed like a prince. "Hiya James!" she shouts as she waves quickly back and forth. James just ignores her and keeps walking towards the door. "What'cha doin?" "I'm leaving." "You're...what now?" Ellie tilts her and widens her eyes. "You heard me," James pushes Ellie out of the way. "I'm running away." "WHY?! ARE YOU CRAZY?!" James sighs. "No one's really paying attention to me. So, I'll just go." Many thoughts come up in Eris' mind. You're ruining my plans you helpless whelp! "Well, where are you going to go?" "Who knows." Ellie watches as James disappears through the doors. Inside, Eris feels like killing someone, luckily she is a fourteen year old girl until she turns to herself again.
