So, ever since I saw some Miguel and Charlotte pictures that chesire made for me {They are awesome!!!}, I decided to make a fanfiction having to to do with them! :3 Eeeeek! I'm so excited! :D My heart is pounding! I hope most of you enjoy this series!
"Wait up Miguel! You know I can't catch up to you that fast!" An twenty-year-old Charlotte La Bouff runs in a sea of townspeople. Barely seeing her best childhood friend, Miguel, she gives in and takes a seat on the sidewalk near her. "Hey," Someone says to The blond New Orleans female. "Are you okay?" Right in front of her is Miguel himself. "You...you beat me." she says with her usual southern accent. "Well," Miguel says as he helps Charlotte up from the concrete. "That's what you get for cheating at a race." The game that they were playing earlier was a simple race. Sometimes, Miguel would let Lottie win. But that was only when they were little children. For their whole life, they've been friends. As kids, they often dreamed about what they would grow up to be. Now, as twenty year olds, they are still following their true destiny. Unfortunately, Miguel grew up into a gambler and Charlotte was headed for a rich and spoiled life. "Next time," Charlotte starts as she brushes off the dust the concrete left on her skirt. "I will be destined to win." Miguel crosses his arms. "That's what you say everyday. But you never win. Only a miracle can help you." Sometimes, Lottie appreciates the enthusiasm that Miguel gives her. But not this time.
Everyday at two-thirty p.m, Miguel and Charlotte get some lunch. Miguel's treat. "Two bowls of gumbo please." Miguel says to the waitress. "Comin' right up." Lottie makes an entrance to the restaurant. "I'M HERE!!!!" Charlotte yells at the top of her lungs. Everyone who went to the restauraunt would always expect Charlotte to do that. The African-American waitress with a midnight black bun in her hair sets the two bowls of hot gumbo in front of Charlotte and Miguel. "Enjoy." She says kindly. "Thank you Tiana!" Tiana smiles at her friend. Miguel takes a spoon-full of gumbo and takes a sip. "HOT! HOT! HOT!" It was always the same thing for Miguel and gumbo. They never agree to anything having to do with taste buds and spice. Spice would overcome Miguel's taste buds. Charlotte laughs out loud. The look on Miguel's face was always hilarious!
