In season one of dexter, rudy cooper has a tattoo on his shoulder, does anyone know what the tattoo is called or were i can get a clear picture of it :)

I just watched an episode and wondered this myself. Seeing as his is my favorite antagonist in the show I would also like to know the answer to your question.

Rudy Cooper's Tattoo is of Celtic dogs chasing each other in a circle. It is originally from The Book of Kells. I have the same tattoo on my chest and I was a bit shocked to see it in the program. I wonder if the actor has it or if it was put on for affect. I have added a pic of my tattoo. It was actually my first and is now part of a much larger piece but this is a close-up of what it looked like new and all by its lonesome many years ago. Obviously, his tattoo is the negative image of mine but the same design. There are many variations on this basic interwoven-three-animal-circular-design in Celtic art but dogs are one of the most common themes.
