How do you become a fan of an item, its on your profile page?

another fan have to give it you!

It's not being a fan of an item ,more like being a fan of a person!!
You go to their profile and under all their listings you'll see a box and the top left part say's Add a fan you click on that had your their fan!!! Like on face book being a friend!!!
