Chapter 9: Deanxra's Description of a Friend

After the discussion with Demyx, Deanxra went to sleep at what her watch told her was 8:27 p.m.. She was surprised at the time since she would always go to sleep at around 10:30. She went to sleep anyway.
She woke up and forgot to draw the new friends she made yesterday. She opened her drawer, opened her sketchpad and drew like there was no tomorrow. She luckily finished before anyone could interupt her. She hung up the pictures of Xemnas, Luxord, Zexion, Xaldin, and Marluxia. She assumed Xemnas liked her since he was the one to recruit her afterall. Today was the last day of vacation and Deanxra wanted to get to know the rest of the members she didn't get to meet on the last 2 days, but she figured that if the last members didn't confront her in the first place, then that means they don't want anything to do with her. That somewhat bothered her, but she just hoped if she didn't get a chance to meet them, then they would start to warm-up to each other when she is assigned a mission. Deanxra shook her thoughts out and twisted the knob of her door just to see if anyone was up. Nobody. She closed her door, got dressed, and headed towards The Grey Area.
(At the Grey Area)
Roxas:...... Hm? Oh, hey Deanxra! =^-^=
Deanxra: Well, you seem optimistic today! Why are you up so early?
Roxas: I don't really know. You wanna go to Twilight Town with me? I'm gonna go take a walk.
Deanxra: Sure, I could use some excersise.
(At Twilight Town)
Roxas: So, um, what do you want to do today? This is our last day being together.
Deanxra: Excuse me?
Roxas: Sorry! That came out wrong. I ment this is our last day to spend together without having a mission to take care of. Who knows when we'll have another day off?
Deanxra: Yeah... Roxas?
Roxas: What is it? *smiles*
Deanxra: *giggles* Mmm... Nevermind.
Roxas: What? You can tell me.
Deanxra: Is it me or do you and Xion?... You know.....
Roxas: Huh? Oh! No! I like you.... As a friend!
Deanxra: Haha, no offense, but you are one crazy guy.
Roxas: Is that really a bad thing? Heh...
Deanxra: Hey, their's been this thing on my mind and I want to ask you about something personal. When you and Axel hang out, do you guys feel or at least know that spark of trust and friendship? 'Cause if you do, I would like to know how you guys do it so I can have someone to share that spark with.
Roxas: Like?
Deanxra: Anyone in general. I just want a person or Nobody to run to at full speed when I need a shoulder to cry on or a pair of arms to hold me when I need to be comforted. I want someone to care about me, to make me feel like I have a purpose and to make me feel like I'm not a waste of space.
Roxas: Well, you have me...
Deanxra: Yes, and I'm grateful for you to have as a friend, but I want someone to get me, like common interests, same outlook on life, but a sense of comfort and cariness that can make even the most stubborn Nobody to weaken.
Roxas: I know someone like that and she's the most amazing person I've met in the organization...
Deanxra: Who?
Roxas: You.
Deanxra blushed so hard, she turned the other way and smiled, but she couldn't help but think about the magnitude of what he just said. She just looked back at him and stared at him at what seemed like eternity with her dazzling eyes and cute smile that could even make Lexaeus smile.
Roxas: *smiles* You are just... Wow...
Deanxra: How about you stop staring at me and we RTC
Roxas: Yeah, let's go find Axel.
(The Castle That Never Was)
Axel: Hey Dean and Rox! Where have you guys been?
Deanxra: We went to go on a little stroll. (Closes eyes for 2 seconds) Have you been planning any shinanigons that have to do with painting 2's room pink, dying Xigbar's hair purple, putting the evidence under my bed and blaming it on me?
Axel: No. Why'd you ask?
Deanxra was still not 100% ready to give up the idea of Axel and his jokes. She knows somewhat that Axel was a smooth lier, but she couldn't be fooled... She did have the power to check one's aura energy and tell who was bad, good, mean, nice, truthful, or lying.
Deanxra: Axel if you tell me to my face that you were gonna do that, I won't bother you of your obsesive pranking problem.
Axel: What problem? I don't have a problem. Whoever told you that can cut off his tongue and eat it.
Deanxra raises her eyebrows. Axel looked at her, and he started to get a chill down his spine. He almost felt like it was Larxene who was asking and of course, he wouldn't lie to her, for his own sake.
Axel: FINE! I lied! Happy now!?
Deanxra: *grins widely* Yeaz, yeaz I am...
Roxas: *Demyx, you are one lucky guy. I just hope you realize it and be the friend she's always wanted... Or else I will....*
