Good answers. Of course, I disagree with all of it, but find it pleasing that it is argued semi-intellectually, even if the logic is more than twisted.

If only they had a questions page so that I could ask them stuff they couldn't answer. Maybe that's why they don't...

There are answers for everything, but nobody wants to ask Him anything unless they believe in Him. Even then, would they want to believe Him? And could they accept His timing?
I even wonder if Atheists are afraid of God, and that's why they choose to disbelieve in God?

Well, what I don't believe there is an answer for is why people are born inherently homosexual if God did not make them that way on purpose. I know that Catholics don't believe people are, but there is scientific evidence to the contrary.

Afraid of god? That's a bit of a reach right there. I have a hard time fearing something I do not believe in. You may as well say the same of Zeus or Odin.

Using the bible as back-up to any debate just does not wash with me any more than using any other of the mythologies would.

As for their argument that Homosexual marriage weakens Heterosexual marriage, I say garbage. The divorce rat is much, much lower among Gays than among Heteros... Perhaps we should outlaw Hetero marriages. Those are the ones diluting the importance of the marriage vow.

Once again, a lovely source to learn more about Catholicism, although the views stated I completely disagree with.

They did define "homophobic" incorrectly. They said that they were not homophobic because homophobia means being afraid of someone who has a homosexual relationship whereas they have a "love the sinner hate the sin" attitude. But homophobia is essentially a dislike of homosexual feelings so they are still being homophobic.

Well just because one does not believe in God doesn't mean He does not exist. Like I said, I could get deep into the aspects of 'religion' but there's so much that could make most peoples' heads spin. But it would take too long.
God believes in you, so shouldn't that mean something to you?

Dr D, you have never believed in anything you couldn't explain, anyway. Why can't you look outside your own box and see that there is so much more in this vast universe than just what the human eyes can see?

MajorDork, if you can explain it WELL, I'll convert to Christianity.

I'm completely serious.

And I will be serious in saying this: I doubt there is a good enough explanation that you could accept, renrae. There is so much about our universe that is unexplainable, we just have to accept that it was created by God's own hands. There is so much that only God can explain, but He chooses not to until He knows we're ready.
Many of us, no matter how much we claim we're ready for the knowledge, are NEVER going to be ready as long as our souls stay in our bodies.
For me, that is very much acceptable. If we're not meant to know something right now, so be it.
If we were to see God for all His Glory or Satan in all his true horror.....if we were to see it all with our own eyes, our limited human comprehension, our limited human minds wouldn't be able to process it all and we would literally die from fright!
With that much awesomeness, and knowing God created every natural thing in this world: from the smallest crawling ant to the greatest living tree or the highest peaking mountain.....how can we NOT believe in God?
But, I can see you're the type who may never believe in God unless you see Him yourself. Good luck with that.
