No offense to Quentin or David Selby, who was a very handsome man, but there was just something very sensual about Barnabas and his big brown eyes and Old World charm.

No fair! An almost shirtless pic of Quentin! LOL! We Barnabas fans never got any shirtless or shirt undone scenes. Barnabas was always buttoned up! Still, nobody could wear a three piece suit like Jon Frid's Barnabas.

It was a shame we never got to see more "Barnaskin" since he had a nice physique. He looked great in period or modern dress--especially those tapered at the waist suits, gray and gold being my favorite suit color choices on him, and no one rocked the 1790's look better than he. I loved his caped cloaks. What else? The hair, eyes, hands, voice, the "walk"...he could be downright sexy just standing there, staring off into space. The total package was impressive but his charm and suave manners were the tops. Yep, it was Barnabas for me.

I love Quentin, but there is just something about Barnabas. That reserved old world gentlemen of culture and breeding quality that Jonathan Frid brought to the role is just irresistible. And certainly missing from any other version of Barnabas Collins.

After hearing any of the choices speak, the sound of Barnabas's voice assures him a landslide victory. So smooth, deep, velvety and soothing and he used it so effectively to express his deeply passionate personality. I could just listen to him speak all day.

Barnabas tried to hide his passionate, sensual interior by acting the image of a proper, formal English gentleman. We all saw through him and saw the deep, passionate, romantic man, full of deep feelings and sensuality that he really was. Hidden passionate types, like the forbidden fruit, attracts so much more than the outright passionate types do.

Okay, Quentin is REALLY sexy, but I had to go with Willie on this one. He was just so simply wonderful!
