I recently came across a couple of TVD 'confessions' in Tumblr that made me feel really bad:

One was comparing Damon's quote about the SE breakup in 4x07 'I heard about the breakup, I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not' to Stefan's quote about Elena choosing Damon in 4x23 'I'm not happy about Elena, but I'm not not happy for you'. This person said that Damon is the worst brother ever.

The second one was about DE: 'they're so selfish together, I hate them'

Earlier this evening I saw my friend Kelly having an emotional breakdown over a certain contrast between SE and DE and I promised her to try to write a post out of her fangirling/sobbing tweets.
We all remember just how completely shattered and absolutely alone Elena felt in 3x20 when Alaric was dying - his human death.
She was crying and completely out of it, saying ‘I have no one’. 
In that exact moment Stefan jumped right in and TOLD her flat out ‘You have me’ in a way that came across as completely self-serving and non-understanding of Elena’s actual situation.

Hey everyone! After I watched "Down the Rabbit Hole", I noticed that there are some fans that are worried that Elena will turn off her humanity after losing Jeremy. We viewers don't even know if he is dead for good, but if he is then it's not the end of the world. Elena has her friends to help her out, but the one I believe that will mostly help Elena when she turns it off is Damon. He is one of the only ones who understands what it is like to be alone which is probably how Elena will feel after losing her last family member...

When I had seen the preview for The Dinner Guest, I couldn't resist playing on it, but instead of Katherine always mimicking Elena I decided that Elena would try to pass herself off as Katherine for a change. And passing herself off as Katherine she would give in to getting together with Damon.
