Damon turned around to see a black husky wolf snarling at him and showing him his teeth. The wolf moved toward damon slowly and growling.
"run" damon said
"what" elena asks. Damon pushed elena towards the tree sending her into the tree.
"run" damon yelled. The wolf charged at damon but damon moved away and the wolf hit in the wall. Damon used his speed and grabbed elena. He ran with her and sat her down behind a rock.
"stay here and don't come out until i tell you" damon said
"what about you" elena asked
"i'll be allright just stay hidden" damon said. The pack of wolfs smelled damon and ran where he was. Damon ran toward the black wolf and was about to attack it when 4 wolfs attacked him smaching him to the ground. The black wolf went in the ambush and bit damon in on his arm tearing into his jacket sleeve. Damon let out a scream and punched the wolf in his face then pushing it off him. Elena knew that damon needed help and grabbed a branch. She got it and slammed it into one wolfs head.
"elena stop what are you doing get out of here" damon yelled while punching one of them.
The wolf ignored damon and looked right at elena. Elena tried that again but the wolf grabbed the branch by his teeth and broke it in half. Elena threw the branch down and ran. The wolf followed elena and the pack followed. Damon grabbed a wolfs leg and pulled him back. He grabbed the broken branch and stabbed the wolf right in the back. Damon got up.
"elena" he yelled
"damon" elena yelled back. Damon used his super hearing to hear where elena was. He took out the branch from the wolf's back and ran after elena.
Elena ran and ran but couldn't anymore her legs were giving up and she was panting hard. A wolf jumped in the air and was about to bite elena when he was pulled back by his neck and stabbed in gut by damon. The pack stopped running after elena and jumped on damon. A wolf ignored damon and bit elena on leg. Elena screamed and damon heard her. This was not allowed no one was suppose to hurt elena, not when damon's around.
Damon's fang and veins pop out and damon pushed all wolfs off him. Damon used his speed and grabbed the wolf that bit elena and snapped it's neck. 2 wolfs left. The wolfs started to run away but damon used his speed and grabbed the wolf and ripped it's neck apart with his fangs. The only black wolf left stopped running and looked at damon. He charged at damon but damon moved to the side and the wolf went flying by him. Damon used his speed and grabbed him by the tail and slammed it down on the ground. Damon bent down next to him and jammed his hand into the wolfs chest. 3 seconds later damon pulled out the wolf's heart and threw it over the trees.
Damon stood up looking around. All the wolves were dead and elena was safe
"damon" said elena with a concern in her voice
"don't worry you'll be fine i'll heal you" damon replied while bending next to elena's leg checking it out
"no... you're rings gone" elena said
