Damon & Elena Question

i honestly dont get people sometimes...?

i just dont get it, one minute delena are miles apart and peopel are desparate for the intimate scenes between them. they go on about how much they miss delena being together, and then as soon as they are together, they say things like this..*i cant get into it, its all about sex with them now, there is no communication anymore" i mean seriously??? make up your minds people! one minute your complaining about ther lack of scenes, and the next your complaining about them being too intimate. i know i shouldnt judge, but its very irritating. and it s very off putting too. of they are very intimate. give them a break! its not often that they get to be this happy. they are just making the most of what they have, before all the disasters come rushing in again. let them be. they are just being happy while they can. of course they still communicate, they are just living for the moment. and you all should be grateful, its not often that we get to see this.

Damon & Elena Answers

I don't have any problems with the intimate scenes. I love all their scenes. It's just that without Elena's memories, it feels incomplete. Delena feels incomplete. It's like it never happened, like all of the beautiful, passionate, heartbreaking, infuriating things they've been through have all been for nothing. I know she will get her memories back. I'm just growing impatient and anxious with every episode that passes.

I am glad that I am not the only one who feels like this, and you described exactly how I see it – the anxiety as well as the lost meaning of Delena’s unforgettable scenes of the past. I so far thought about Elena as kind of “tainted” in her current state, definitely incomplete, and I can never lose that thought somehow, although I none the less love the DE moments. I haven’t been a fan of the memory loss storyline from the beginning, but I understood why it has been put in the story. And it is undoubtedly a way to delay things for the “already very far into things” Delena (true love declarations; eternity promises; unbeatable closeness, intimacy and understanding; …). But I now don’t see the purpose of it anymore in the current situation, and two thirds of a season are so beyond more than enough for something like that.
