Reasons for yet another hiatus in March???

Has there been any reason for another gap in between episodes? Christmas fair enough, but why March?

.. is it silly of me to think the writers are waiting to see the outcome of Midnight? What if they're waiting to see what happens between couples? Such as the dreaded spoilers concering the "b" word? I've got myself scared!!!

Oh believe me I want to keep the pessimism to a minimum, but this thought has been driving me nuts the last couple of days and I needed to find out! I'm in the UK and have zero idea what show patterns are like in the US. I just don't get why we need so many breaks? It's pathetic! :-(

No it has nothing to do with Midnight. They took a month-long break last year as well. It's a good thing in a way because if they didn't we would have to wait 5 months instead of 4 until season 3.

No it has nothing to do with bonnie or anything lol last year also there ws a hiatus , only it was in feb and again they returned in march, this time it just so happened that the entire march month is hiatus
