Damon & Elena Question

Ok so, we know Damon said "i love you Elena" but does anyone know if in season one he ever spoke those words to Katherine?

I really don't think so but wanted to know if I was wrong. If he never said "I love you" to Katherine then this would mean that Elena was the only woman he ever said it to. How much more epic would that be?

I just wanted to say that in 1864 Stefan confessed his love for katherine. So Elena isn't the first woman he said "i love you" to.

He did say that Katherine was the love of his life but ppl fall in and out of love, So..even if he was in love with Katherine, now he is in love with Elena, not a big deal.:D

ok thanks. I just have a feeling that he never said it to her even though he thought it. "he said is my love not enough" which isnt the same.

have you ever tried watching the first episode, and then come back to where we are now, it's really amazing how much he has changed throughout the episodes!!!!!!!
