Yes . I think Damon is in love with Elena . Because of how he acts and his mood and body language changes . ANd because in the last episode he kissed elena/katherine and he though it was Elena. So i actually think he is in love with Elena. BUt i dont think he wanted to ayone to find out. But i think they would be an excellent couple.
No, not yet anyway. It's too soon for him to fall in love with her. I mean, he's not Stefan, falls in love with a girl after a day. I think Damon and Elena's relationship needs to build and develope more before they fall in love.
I think he is 'falling' in love with her, he definitely seems intrigued by her, initially because of her resemblance to Katherine but now because he sees her as a good soul and that she genuinely cares about people, I think he likes that about her and consequently wants to please her. Look at when he goes after Jeremy in Founder's Day, after Jeremy told her to go to hell, he basically tells him to have some respect and I think this is because he himself does.
