OK, so I have recently posted some information that I found on L.J. Smith's site. It says that in regards to the new books that are coming out, that the books are going to be emulating the TV show. As a book reader and as someone who has been a fan of the TVD novel series long before the TV show ever aired and came out on the CW, this of course, greatly angered me and upset me, not only as TVD book fan, but as TVD fan period. Defense of original Book Bamon Fans who also ship Show Bamon


Kay, so I wrote this out of extreme annoyance at a certain fanbase who claims that some of us only ship show Bamon because of the dynamic of Bamon in the books (which is completely not true).
Since I am a fan who loved Book Bamon before the show even aired, I thought I could give my take on it.
So, three years ago when, when I was twelve, I read the VD book series. I was just getting over a “Twilight” phase (now before you roll your eyes, I am not obsessed with it anymore. I still like it, but I know there are many other vampire...

I notice that everybody think that a Bamon kiss in season 3 isn't a good idea. It would be rush or weird. But I think that the idea isn't that bad. There ways to make it realistic and it wouldn't seem rush or weird.

- At the end of season 2 bonnie started to trust damon. During the first episode they start to have a sort of understanding. They start to get along and accept each other.
He trains her so she could be stronger to defeat Klaus.
He does something stupid as usual (a stupid plan that put everybody's Life at stake but it wasn't his intentions he just want to help).
Everybody is mad at him...

So, I'm an avid fan of the TVD novels series. As all of you already know by now, I am a HUGE Book Bamon fan. In fact, I am more of a Book Bamon supporter then a Show Bamon supporter, however, at one point, I loved Show Bamon as well. But a lot of things have changed in regards to my passion and support for Show Bamon that I have decided to just stick with Book Bamon for now. Maybe things will change in the future when it comes to Show Bamon but some major adjustments will need to be made in terms of Damon's characterization and also, increasing the amount of character exploration on the part...

It has come to my notice that the word "unhealthy" has been used quite frequently in Vampire Diaries Couple talks. All different shippers will brand their rivals ship as "unhealthy" and the fans of that ship will do the same. And then during a rather heated debate about a ship being unhealthy they'll say the thing I hate most-
"Oh yeah because setting Damon on fire and giving him brain pains is so healthy and hot!"
This is one of the things that bugs me-picking out a time when a couple don't get on and forming it as the basis of why they 'can't'...
