I'm a little shocked that people think Bamon is even remotely similar to Chair. Chair is a highly destructive relationship. The only thing that Bamon really has in common with Chair is the chemistry. Other then that, I don't see how Bamon and Chair are even the slightest bit similar whatsoever. Bamon emulates Dan/Blair dynamic to the most. Their build-up and their interactions and communication with each other is like Dan and Blair. I'm quite surprised by the results if I'm being honest, since I don't think Damon/Bonnie are anything like Chair. In fact, I would hope that Bamon doesn't have a relationship in the future that is even remotely similar to Chair's relationship. I'm not trying to start shipper wars or anything, since I know that some of my fellow Bamonators are Chair shippers (hell, I am a ex-Chair shipper myself) but to me, the only relationship from GG that emulates all of Show Bamon's characteristics and qualities is 100% Dair. The banter, the eye sex, the interactions, the buildup on their respective shows, the way that Dan and Blair challenge each other and how they call each other out on their BS; all of Bamon's communication and interactions are Dan and Blair to a T. Chuck and Blair don't challenge each other, they manipulate each other and there's always so many secrets and lies between them. Their communication isn't open and direct like Dan/Blair's. And this is especially part of the reason why I don't feel Bamon is anything like Chair. Bamon's communication is OPEN and DIRECT and their interactions and communication with each other is HEALTHY, not emotionally draining and stifling like Chair's unfortunately. So that is why I chose Dan/Blair. Again, a little surprised by the results but I figured that it would ultimately come down to Dair and Chair and I was right.

May be my Dair shipper mind is picking this but honestly I think Bamon are more like Dair, between I like Chair, S1 Chair and GG were so great, awesome but if you think so, Dair is building up from S1 although Chair is always there from S1, getting more scene, ILY..alll.. but think about it Dan/Blair used to hate each other just like Damon/Bonnie,Dan/Blair are so different but underneath they have some similarities in characteristics just like Damon/Bonnie.Dan has met Blair via Blair's best friend Serena, Damon has met Bonnie via Bonnie's best friend Elena.Damon/Bonnie are working together to save Elena just like Dan/Blair saved Serena in Georgina case, And both DB have crazy , entertaining chemistry, never bore you.Between I like Chair,but I think Bamon is more similar to Dair.

I love Chair, Dair, Dan/Serena in GG and Chair is my my favorite ship in GG, I love them no matter if they are healthy or not after all it's not real life :P but I think Bamon is more like Dair, like Skater_girl said, Bamon have those similar kind of situations, chemistry and dynamics just like Dair.

Has more in common with Dair but Bamon has some many things like Chair.
Anyway, Bamon will be not a misogynist as Chair was.

I don't think any of the ships there are similar to bamon ,but since dan and serena were my fav characters i picked them,chair not a fan but blair said in one eps i saw that she brings out the good in chuck when he brings out the worest in her so may be tht will happen wit our bamon!!

I am actually shocked that some ppl think that Chair is destructive, if it's destructive (in your view of course, in my land destruticve relationship means violence) then why do you ship Bamon from the show? I don't get it! Love is supposed to be this way, cause it's real, faithful to life. (I don't even know how Dair is a love/hate relationship. at. all. they don't even hate each other) Bamon feels like Chair. But it's a different connection and a different show. Nough said.

This...ITA SKater_girl......The exact dynamic and condition and I like Chair,they are great but Bamon are definitely like Dair and I'm shipping both DB couple hard .

I don't think we should make any more picks where Chair or Dair are included because right now Chair VS Dair shipping war is really over the top.I'm not going to pick one and Chair is not destructive applepie, you may not love them now but I still love them and Chuck/Blair have some issues which needs to sort of, CB love each other and they have great relation and they are not real , so who cares.Chair is my OTP and I don't think Chair is like Bamon, they are different but I love both Chair and Bamon.

In my opinion Bamon is like none of them. They are way better and their chemstry is simply undecribable!

Dan felt MORE hate for Blair than Chuck? And Blair felt more hate for Dan than for Chuck????!! Since when? Never. They didn't knew each other That well to feel "hate" assumption is not hate, Chuck and Blair hated each other...and still they are in love...

^ Nope, Chuck/Blair didn't use to hate each other.They were friends when their journey and when they hook up ,Chuck realize that he feels sth more than friendship, they fight not because they hate each other but because they try to hide their feelings,I may not like Dair but Lora is right, it's Dair who used to hate each other, Blair, Chuck both hated Dan and Dan hated Blair because Dan is their out of league ,Chair never hated each other first.They were friends and they hook up, this way..their journey started.
I don't think Bamon's dynamic is close to Chair at all.Chuck always like Blair from first moment , can't tell it because of Nate.
