Crush Question

PLEASE HELP!

Ok so this girl in my class told me that this hot kid was staring at my a** and then later told me he likes me. So I have no idea what to think. Whenever I see him he either blushes or doesn't look at me at all. I know it's probably nothing but I'm really confused. Cn any of you maybe help me and tell me what might be going on?

I tend to see him all the time because he's my neighbor and he's in my CCD class. So I now all of a sudden like him. So naturally me being me I tend to say things that are mean but I don't mean to say them. Also nothing has changed except that he's pulled me into really awkward conversations on the bus.
