I saw it when I was a mega fan of twilight, and even then I though it was nothing special. Then I saw it again loved it. Then saw it again, and now I just think its okay, but nothing special.

didnt actually fall asleep, bt i did get bored and stopped watching it, i finished later because i had to return the dvd.

The special effects were terrible, but apart from that it was ok, not great though...

It wasnt the acting to me... well actually KS acting as bella was eck BUT THE MOVIE AS A WHOLE WAS SHIT!!

IF I HAD NEVER READ THE BOOKS I WOULDNT HAVE UNDERSTOOD IT + THE DIRECTOR FUCKED IT SERIOUSLYYYY! It could have been wayyyy better BUTTTTT NOOOO she had to be gay >:/

KStewart can't act and it's all a bit bad but hey they're portraying a pretty bad book. I had extremely low expectations when this came out - even before I decided the books were awful - and they surprised me. Really - how could they make it better? It was mediocre but the best mediocre you can get with stories like those. So I rolled with it and actually really liked it! I don't know how they could have made it better, besides maybe some more acting classes.

Ugh...bad script transcription, bad direction, horrible acting, they couldnt even cast actors that looked like the characters were physically descripted! Ugh, just awfull! And the 2nd one seems like it's gonna be even a bigger joke! XP

It wasn't anything great, but I did like it better than the book.

I thought it was pretty boring. I think they could have made it a lot better. My main issue was they missed out all of Edward and Bella's key bonding scenes (him picking her up for school, having lunch together) so they went from talking ocassionally to being lovers.

I was still in my obsessed phase when I saw it and thought is was alright.
KS's acting was horrible, she can do so much better.
The script was boring and overall, I gave it a 3 in 5 point scale.
Now I would give -1000 or something.

None of the acting, directing, or cinematography is all that great. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it at all either.

It was actually pretty good, in my opinion, but I prefer the book.

I agree with katiecain, that and the special effects were horrible. From watching the behind the scenes, I think they spent too much time and money on more insignificant things and not at all enough on the things that really mattered.. Ugh, I really wish it could've been made by someone else. She even said herself that a lot of people tell her they fall in love too fast. -.-'

Could of been better, but it also could of been a lot worse.

I hated the way how the storyline was edited. I know they had to cut short the book into a 2 hour movie... I think it could have been so much better. I had a problem with Kristen Stewart as Bella too. Her blinking and stammering has me so annoyed! To sum it all up, I think Catherine Hardwicke killed the movie.

But then again, Twilight didn't have much of a storyline. Bella meets Edward. Edward meets Bella. Sparks fly. Bella gets into trouble. Edward comes to save her. Blahblahblah. You have the prom and VOILA! end of Twilight. Next, comes New Moon. Oo

Yeah ive read the books but i actually prefer the movie. Yeah the movie wasnt great but its enjoyable and predictable to watch.

Catherine Hardwicke had a very distorted vision of SMeyer's idea, RPatts didn't understand his character at all, and I'm just not a fan of KStew's acting style. Sorry, kids.
