You just have to look back at the history of #7s. When Beckham left everyone thought he was irreplaceable. But we bought Ronaldo and have done fantastic since. £80m is a very good price for Ronaldo. I doubt Real Madrid can get the same kind of productivity from him. Ferguson has a magic way of getting the best from his players. I honestly wish him all the best at Madrid but he has to know he has taken a step down. We can replace him eventually. No player will be a success as quickly but we will cope. We still have a team full of stars.
