That's kind of the point. The question asks who's the most overrated on fanpop - like who has more fans than they probably should based on acting ability etc.

Oh, well then Matthew would be the clear winner of that title.

Although just because someone is less well known doesn't necessarily mean they are less talented. In most cases they are under recognized which I think Paget is her screen presence is alluring just makes you want to keep watching. :)

I don't really think this is a nice question. Just because you don't think they deserve that many fans doesn't make it so. I'm sure they have even more fan outside of fanpop. If you want an overrated actor you should look at Brad Pitt or George Clooney.

Looking at the other actors or characters, who stands out to you as having more than you think they would or should. Like, I picked Matthew because he has a LOT of fans, yet I like him the same as everyone else. It's not that I don't think he deserves that many fans, it's just in my mind, he wouldn't have that many fans. I don't know if that made sense. (*I replaced David with Matthew.)

It's not that they don't deserve that many fans, because I believe that they all deserve fans, it's who do think stands out as having more fans than you would think. Like, If you rated an episode of something as an 8, but the overall rating was a 9.5. It's not that you think that the episode doesn't deserve that high of a rating. The rating is just different in your mind.

Matthew is totally overrated! Why should Paget be overrated??!!

Paget is way under-rated, have you guys seen any of her other stuff - she is an amazing actress.
I like Matthew but he has been in nothing else, he has a lot of fans on fanpop cuz there are a ton of teenage girls on fanpop and they think he is cute.

I don't think Matthew is overrated. I liked him before I started watching Criminal Minds. He just seems like a nice down-to-earth kinda person.

This is the past vote, still...Lol to all MGG haters. He is underrated and cmon people don't be so jealous to the popular one lol. My vote is for Gibson and Shemar.

^ I don't think anyone hates/hated Matthew. For me, I just thought it was strange that he had (and still has) so many more fans than the other actors/actresses on Fanpop.

I don't think any of these actors are that much overrated, if any, most are underrated..

It's not connected with the fact I pretty much like him and his acting skills, but Thomas Gibson is more underrated than overrated.
And about Matthew, love his role in this show, it's my favorite role with Hotch, but it feels like most of people like him because of his look, because he's cute and all that stuff :-)
I'm not saying he's not, though. I'm just saying it's not the thing we should focus on.
