PART 18:EVERYONE'S POV!!!
-BELLA-
I went out back to take one last peek at my motorcycle, when something caught my eye. There was a note taped to my handlebars addressed to me. I picked it up and read it to myself.
Bella-
Please understand why I had to do this. I couldn't live without her Bella, you must understand that. The times I spent with you have been very joyful, and I hope you won't miss me too much. You really, and truly are my best friend...and you always will be. I love you, Bells. -Jacob
I instantly began to sob, as I dropped to my knees in pain.

I was feeling rather bored today, so I decided to play the piano. I sat down and tested out the keys that I hadn't touched in at least 2 days. I stopped when my finger felt something softer than a key. There was a note taped to my piano. I picked it up and began to read.

We didn't start out friends, but I grew on you over the years. Take care of Bella, and please make sure she knows why I had to do this. Goodbye my friend...my brother. -Jacob

I rushed down to my sewing kit to make Scarlett a hat.Winter was coming soon, and the only thing Alice HADN'T bought her was hats. I picked up my red spool of thread and realized something was taped to it. A note...

I decided to run some more tests on Scarlett out of curiosity,so I went to my office with a strand of her hair. I put it into the scanner and waited impatiently. Then I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I turned in my chair to see a note taped to my computer.

I took in a deep breath as I realized what this meant. Jacob had killed himself.I was suddenly unable to work, I just sat there in emotional pain.

I snuggled closer to Emmett, who was watching a football game. I sat there for a minute, until I got bored. I ducked under his arm and went upstairs to find something to do. I passed my room, and then stopped to look in the mirror. I began to pat my hair, fixing it in certain places, when I noticed a small piece of paper blocking my view. I got agitated and picked it up. I was about to rip it up when I noticed that the top was addressed to me. I opened it up to see very bad handwriting. I read it slowly.
Rosalie-
Blondie, even though we didn't get along, I think you'll miss me.I'm sorry if I ever really hurt you. Oh, and one more thing, Hows a blonde kill a bird? She throws it off a cliff! Didn't see that one coming sucka! Goodbye Rosalie. -Jacob
I could smell the scent of salt water coming off the note, like the beach in La Push. I could also smell sand, the kind that was on cliffs. That meant that he had to have been on a cliff when he wrote this note. But what would the mongrel be doing on a cliff? Then it hit me.He was going to jump off the cliff and kill himself just because Nessie didn't love him anymore. Even though I always told him to go La Push himself off a cliff...I never thought he'd actually do it. Pain aced through my motionless heart. My last words to Jacob Black had been, "Get off the couch, mongrel!" I began to cry tear less sobs as I realized I couldn't apologize.
-Emmett-
Esme had kicked me off the couch for being too loud, so I went out back to hit the punching bags a few times. I pulled my fist back to hit the punching bag, when I noticed a piece of paper taped to it. I picked it up curiously and read it quickly.
Emmett-
I know i'm leaving you without anyone to wrestle,but hey, look at it this way:At least Rosalie won't yell at you all the time.Your like the big scary brother I never had, Em.Goodbye. -Jacob
I crumpled up the paper and through it down. I was no longer in the mood to pummel the punching bag.
-Alice-
I sang to myself as I skipped upstairs to put my new clothes in my closet. I put my bags down and picked up a small note that was taped to my favorite purple blouse. I smelt the werewolf coming off of it and realized why I hadn't seen it coming.
Alice-
You'll have to use Seth as your new pain-killer,but don't worry, I taught the kid a few things. You are a very talented little pixie, Alice. Your like the annoying little sister I never had.Goodbye. -Jacob
The note slipped from my hands as my eyes went blank. I saw a cliff by La Push, the same one that Bella had jumped off of 20 something years ago. I gasped and sat down on the floor. I searched for anything that could help me save Jacob, anything at all.

I wondered where Alice was. She was next to me a few minutes ago. She problably went shopping. I figured I my as well go read or something, to keep for dying of boredom. I picked up my Book of Wars and flipped to the first page. Under my bookmark was a small note. I picked it up and read it cautiously.
Jasper-
I didn't know you very well, but I do know that your a good guy. You calmed me down when I needed it, so thanks for that. -Jacob
I sat the note back on my book and thought about where he could be.
-Seth-
Leah and Brady were making out in my room, so I decided to get away from there. I phased and went out by my favorite tree to take a nap. Right where I kept my spare clothes, was a note. I pawed at it until it opened. I bent down to read it.
Seth-
Remember everything I taught you,bud. I'm sorry i'm leaving your sister as Alpha,but you'll understand some day, I promise.Take care of the pack, brother. -Jacob
He couldn't do this to me! He couldn't just leave! What could possibly be more important than the pack. He said that the only way he would leave this pack was to die! Wait a second! NO!

I went to the bathroom to put on my best outfit. Brady was taking me out tonight, and I wanted to look my best. I slipped on one of Renesmee's silky black dresses and rummaged through my purse for lipstick. I came across a folded piece of paper in the bottom of my purse. I picked it up. It had my name on the top. I cautiously opened the note and read it over quickly.
Leah-
As the descendant of Emphriam Black, I am leaving you as the pack's new honorary Alpha. I trust you, Leah, Lead the pack in the right direction. You've been through a lot of pain that you didn't deserve, and i'm sorry for that.I know you will be a great Alpha, and that is why I am leaving you in charge. Today you go down in history as Leah Clearwater, the first female werewolf, and the first female Alpha. Take good care of the pack,Sister. I trust you. Goodbye. -Jacob
A tear rolled down my eye and splashed onto the letter. When I came out of the bathroom, I looked like a drown cat form all the crying. Brady was sitting on the bed waiting for me. I cried into his chest, and then stood up, wiping the tears away. I was now the Alpha, so there was something I wanted to try. I phased quickly, and so did Brady. If I commanded him to do something, and he heard the whole Alpha double echo thing, then I really was the knew Alpha. I barked loudly, commanding him to get on his knees, He whined and dropped to his knees. I phased back quickly. Goodbye Beta, hello Alpha. But then I thought about Jacob, and began to sob again.
-Scarlett-
While momma was sleeping, I decide to make her a a get well soon card. I went up to my room to find a note laying on my bed. Daddy's scent blew off it. I picked it up and read it the best I could.
Scarlett-
You are the greatest daughter a father could ask for.Take care of your mother. I love you,Scar. -Daddy.
I through the note away and ran out of the room sobbing.

I rolled over, finally regaining consciousness. I could tell that I was still half human because I wasn't thirsty. I jumped out of bed quickly, feeling completely energized. The first thing I wanted to do was apologize and feel Jacob's warm lips against mine again. I flipped my hair back and noticed a note taped to my chest. I pulled it off, careful not to rip my sweater. I read it slowly.
Renesmee-
I love you more than life itself, and that is why I had to do this. Even though you don't love me anymore, I will always love you. I hope you understand, I could not live without you. Do not be upset, this is not your fault.You will always be my little Nessie. I love you with every ounce of my soul, Mrs.Black. -Mr.Black...Jacob.
The didn't have to tell me that he was going to kill himself, I just knew it. It was all my fault. I screamed so loud that it hurt my own ears. Then I dropped to my knees and sobbed so much that I couldn't breathe. I didn't care. I couldn't move. The pain ripped through me. It was like someone had stabbed a knife right through my heart. I would rather go though the pain of a vampire transformation 50 times than have this kind of pain. I screamed out again, even louder. It was so loud, the glass of water next to my bed burst. I shivered and sobbed and screamed.Then a thought occurred to me. What if I wasn't too late. What if he wasn't dead...yet. I jumped to my feet and grabbed the note, still sobbing. I inhaled the sweet aroma of sand and salt water coming from the paper. I recognized that smell. He had to be at La Push beach. I threw down the note and ran as fast as I could to La Push. I didn't care that people were watching, I din't care about anything but Jacob. I knew that if I was too late, I would be joining him soon. I refused to live without him.
I stopped as I got to the water. A small figure stood on the very top of the mountain. It looked like a man. "JACOB!" I screamed as I realized it was him. It was no use, he couldn't hear me. He stretched out his arms and plunged into the water.
"JACOB!" I screamed again. He hit the waves so hard, that he had to be unconscious. I wasn't going to lose him, not now...not ever. I threw myself out into the water, swimming to where he had landed. I looked under the water, searching for him desperately. I couldn't see him anywhere. I plunged deeper into the water. Then I did something dangerous. I went all the way to the bottom, without getting more air supply. I didn't care if I died, as long as I saved Jacob. I walked across the bottom, searching anxiously. Then I saw him. His shirt was caught on a rock. I swam to him quickly. I ripped his shirt from the rock and pulled him to the surface. I gasped loudly as the air rushed into my lungs. I pulled Jacob to the shore as fast as I could. I dragged him up onto the sand as fast as I could. I layed across him bare chest for a few seconds, and then I realized that he wasn't breathing. I panicked for a minute. Then my senses kicked in. I pushed down on his stomach several times, and then breathed, forcing air down his lungs. a few seconds later he choked out water and groaned. "Jacob?" I whispered. His eyes snapped open. "Renesmee?" He gasped. "Oh Jacob! Your alright!" I yelled as I wrapped my arms around his waist. "But...you don't love me anymore." He whispered. "No Jacob! Of course I still love you! I only said that I never wanted to see you again as a side affect to being sick." I explained. I stood and pulled him to his feet. "So you really do love me?!" He yelled over top of the howling wind.To answer his question, I threw my arms around his neck and kissed him happily. He pulled me into his arms and kissed me back. "I thought I lost you." I whispered. We held hands and ran back to the house. We entered the living room quickly. Everyone was sitting on the floor, sadly. Rosalie was sobbing into Emmett's chest. No one noticed that we entered. Jacob snuck up behind Rosalie and whispered, "I told you you'd miss me, Blondie." "Your...alive!" Rosalie whispered. She jumped to her feet and went to go fix her hair. Obviously she was over it."JACOB!" My mother yelled from the staircase. " Hey Bells." Jacob said smiling. She flew down the stairs and threw her arms around him. "Jacob Black! If you EVER scare me like that again, i swear-" He cut her off. "Don't worry, Bells, I'm not going anywhere. She smiled and whispered,"For being completely crazy, you lose 6 years." He laughed. "Looks like your older again!" He said. I wondered what that was all about, but I really didn't care. Scarlett jumped into his arms. We explained the whole story to everyone, and Leah whimpered. "Whats wrong, Leah?" Jacob asked. "Does this mean i'm not Alpha anymore?" She asked sadly. "No, but, you are still second in command, AND whenever i'm not around, you are Alpha." He said.She seemed pleased. ***8 hours later***
I rolled over in the bed and snuggled closer to Jacob. He wrapped him arm around me and kissed me tenderly. "I love you." He whispered. "I always have, and always will, love you." I answered him. We layed like that until we fell asleep. I was so glad to be back in his arms, where I belonged for the rest of eternity.
