Concerts Question

What were your best concert experiences?

1. One Eye'd Doll put on a phenomenal show. Not only are the creative with witty dark humor but they stuck around and met with the fans as well. The lead singer wished me a happy birthday and in general was super kind to talk to.

2. Within Temptation. Of course I had to add them, they are my favorite band and it was such a pleasure to see them live for the first time. Sharon had a wonderful stage presence. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and they played an amazing set-list.

3. Delain is another one that I have to include. Delain was the first symphonic metal band I've seen in concert. The energy was phenomenal. I felt at home. Seeing as Charlotte is my second favorite singer, I nearly lost my shit (in a good way), when I got to meet her.

4. Arkona had a great vibe. Even though none of the band spoke English they still managed to get the crowd moving. I guess I enjoyed them hard enough because after the set had been played one of the members handed me a set list and I was so happy. When they were preforming I very nearly felt like I was at a sort of pagan festival. It was really neat.

5. Butcher Babes, though I only like a select few of their songs, seeing them live was an absolute thrill. Their concert was the first and only time I tried crowd surfing. The band wanted to see how many high fives they could get from crowd surfers and I had to take them up on the offer lol. Can't be a metal fan if you don't crowd surf (at least for a little bit) at least once.

Runner up: Epica. I saw the band during election week and they kept making Trump vs Hilary jokes and it was pretty funny lol.
