While Kacey was being given an offer she couldn't afford to refuse, all the other girls- well, MOST of the other girls- were fooling around with her stuff. Abby was listening to her iPod, and Kiki was asleep. Thankfully, they were smart enough to not bug her. Waking her up, as they learned early on, would be catastrophic.
"HIDE-AND-SEEK TIME!" Minerva called out. Val and Megan took off in a flash. As Minerva counted, Maddy and Kuki struggled to find a place to hide. She was nearing 20, so they dashed into Kacey's closet, and slammed the door shut. Minerva smiled. She knew exactly where the two were. She creeped towards the closet. She chuckled and threw the door open.
"GOTCHA!"
But Kuki and Maddy weren't there. There was a large pile of boxes that were moved to the side. On the floor, there was a little door that was slightly ajar. There was this creepy purple fog coming from it. Minerva decided to investigate. What she saw next shocked her. And the other two as well.

About an hour had passed, and Megan still hadn't been found yet. Val eventually got tired of hiding and decided to go to sleep. She walked into Wally's room.
"Hey, guys, do you know where-"
She stopped and couldn't stop laughing. Wally was painting Hoagie's toenails and Hoagie was brading Wally's hair.
"This is what girls do at slumber parties, don't they?" Hoagie asked.
She caught her breath.
"Kinda. Now do you- ha ha ha ha!- know where Maddy, Kuki, and Minerva are? I haven't seen them."
Wally shook his head. "Nah. Maybe they're in the closet playing 'Seven Minutes In Heaven'".
She gave him a weird look.
"Do you even know how to play that?"
"Ummmmmm...."
"Never mind." She walked out the room.
Wally looked at his friend.
"How DO you play that game, anyways?"
"I'll tell you when you're older."
-----------------------------------
Meanwhile, on the other side of town......
"Geez! Why do so many kids have to be bad?!" Kacey whined. Now she had an idea why the Count was grumpy most of the time; punishing kids is a LOT of work. There had to be at least 150 kids on the list. She read through to see what sort of things they did.
"Chewing gum in class? Stepping on people toes? Pulling someone's hair? Geez, this dude's gung-ho for punishment." Then she skimmed down the list and found the names of people she hated. She got the same "Grinch-y" look on her face. She didn't care how small their screw-up was. They deserved it. She laughed triumphantly and took to the skies.
